Here's the part where I show my age. Re: 8 Mile, I would say -- I loved Purple Rain. You are no Purple Rain.

At least Eminem can act, compared to Prince.

Purple Vein was not too bad...oh wait, different genre and not applicable here. :look_at_the_time:

Still miss John Candy. He was a childhood comedy hero of mine. RIP John.

Marvin's Room - One of Diane Keaton's better roles. Also, it makes me miss the days when DeNiro wasn't afraid to do supporting roles like this, Sleepers and Backdraft.

I'm 20 minutes in to the movie San Andreas and it is horrible. This lead actress sucks. Her husband sounds like he's reading right off the script.

That was the most overrated movie I've seen in years. Apatow is turning into the M Night Shymalan of comedy. Also, what was the point of that Broderick cameo?

    The Grand Budapest Hotel

I find Wes Anderson movies mostly overrated but this is bad even by his standards and his worst. At least movies like Moonrise and Life Aquatic had charm and a good story. He's in self parody mode here. It's nice to look at but that's it.

    Mission Impossible Rogue Nation

Very good.... The action was shot very well. Rebecca Ferguson has beautiful eyes :) , Alec Baldwin & Simon Pegg were very good too. Tom Cruise does a nice job in the last few MI films.

    Kingsman (the Secret Service).

Liked it, there was a different feel than other action movies I've seen (disclaimer-I don't watch many :) ). Toed the line (for me) as far as squemishness on the large scale fight scenes (I had to look away during the church fight scene), but not bad.

Taron Egerton (Eggsy) is pretty easy on the eyes so theres that . My husband did not believe me that the professor was played by Mark Hamill and had to google it.

    Terminator Genisys. Stupid.

Tried to go watch the new Mission Impossible movie but the theater had assigned seats (wtf?) and there wasnt any decent seats left when we got there. Wish I'd have known about it so we couldve planned better. Who the hell does assigned seats at a movie theater? Weird.
