Keith answered my question on Twitter today! Not comprehensively, but to the point!

Asked 'what was your favorite memory of making Sticky Fingers' and he said 'finishing it'

Some are awesome (Avett, Grace Potter, Gary Clark Jr, Buddy Guy), but some make me scratch my head. Walk the Moon is opening the Detroit show I'm going to...I can't see that going over well with the crowd.

Grace Potter for Minneapolis and Buddy Guy for Milwaukee. No problem with either (I think; I only vaguely have an idea of who Grace Potter is). Hah!

Grace Potter for Dallas too. Never heard of her, and after seeing the recommended YouTube videos I'd be happy to continue never hearing of her. But no skin off my ass, I bought my ticket under the assumption there wasn't going to be an opening act, so I'll just be out in the parking lot drinking beer while she does whatever she does.

They should just show old Stones videos/concerts up on Jerry's big ass TV screen to warm the crowd up.

Fonda theater sounds like it was an awesome show. Played Sticky Fingers in it's entirety, not sure I've ever heard of The Stones playing an album in its entirety. But in a typical Stones fuck-around they switched Brown Sugar to the end of the album/main set instead of playing it to open the album. Pretty dumb if you ask me. Several songs on the album haven't been played since the late 90's (Sister Morphine, I Got The Blues and Moonlight Mile), and You Gotta Move hasn't been played since '76.

    1. Start Me Up
    2. When the Whip Comes Down
    3. All Down the Line
    4. Sway
    5. Dead Flowers
    6. Wild Horses
    7. Sister Morphine
    8. You Gotta Move (Mississippi Fred McDowell cover)
    9. Bitch
    10. Can't You Hear Me Knocking
    11. I Got the Blues
    12. Moonlight Mile
    13. Brown Sugar
    Encore:
    14. Rock Me Baby (B.B. King cover)
    15. Jumpin' Jack Flash
    16. I Can't Turn You Loose (Otis Redding cover)

"War horses" or not, I LOVE Brown Sugar, CYHMK and Bitch. Those songs aside, I would love to hear Sister Morphine live...that end jam is just incredible. Really haunting.

Is that a joke or is that the actual explanation? I don't see anything about the 8 Track having a different running order.

    Mick's actual explanation.

Every CD, Tape, LP, 8-Track and $150 box set that I've seen opens with the classic Brown Sugar riff. Mick probably couldn't stand to give away a big opener/closer like Brown Sugar 4 songs into the setlist.

Mick was joking around. they mixed up the order on purpose

Sticky Fingers went out on Google Play last night. The live tracks on Disc 2 and Get Your Leeds Lungs Out sound awesome. It's good to hear the missing tracks that weren't on the old bootleg.

Pretty pedestrian set list last night, although I did like to see LSTNT show up. The reviews from the shows so far have all been very positive, however, which is all I care. If the energy is there, I don't care about what they play.

Now...very selfishly...I'd love to see stuff like "Sister Morphine," "Crazy Mama," or maybe "Loving Cup."

Have you listened to the Sticky Fingers re-issue yet vant? It's awesome. The alternate version of Bitch is my new favorite thing, Taylor's guitar in the last couple of minutes is awesome. And all the live tracks are awesome.

Going to the show in Arlington next Saturday. I have no doubt that the show will be amazing. While I know it's impossible for the stones to please the average fan along with the hard core fans, it would be nice to drop miss you and 2-3 other war horses and add a few deeper cuts.

What time have they been coming on? Anyone have tips on places to go before and after events at Jerryworld? I work in dallas often, but I don't know Arlington at all. We are just flying in for the night. Does uber work leaving the venue? Any info is appreciated.
    Thanks!

It will be the 50th anniversary of the release of Satisfaction, so they'll probably just play that for 2 hours., with Doom And Gloom thrown in.

I used to know Arlington really well, but it's been 10 years or so since I used to hang out over there regularly. Since then I only head over there maybe 2-3 times a year to go to this really great store called Forever Young Records, close to 360 and 20, and worth checking out if you get a chance. As for things to do or places ot eat around the stadium, I'm not really sure. All I recall seeing in the area are a bunch of chain restaurants and stuff. Chili's, Cheddar's, Applebee's, etc. Right around the stadium at least, there's other stuff in Arlington. I think they have a Babe's there, which is great if you've never had it. Their Chicken Fried Steak is legendary. There's also Bobby V's Cafe, which used to be really good I but don't know if it still is. It's a sports bar/grill (lots of Rangers stuff as Bobby Valentine managed them, boxing ring in the middle of the restaurant with tables on it), and the food is mainly burgers/steaks/chicken. That's really all I know in the area. Yelp can probably help you out more than I can.

On an unrelated note, I was just reading over on IORR that apparently the Best Buy versions of the Marquee show include a coupon for an upcoming release of From The Vault: Hyde Park '69. Hasn't been announced yet, but apparently that's going to be the next release.
