I like their new sound better but I can't get into them. They just don't do anything for me.

I mean, to each their own, I guess. Dude is a genius song writer in my opinion

After forcing myself to give them another chance after the Babel debacle, I actually like the trajectory they are on. Breaking away from the typical M&S sounding songs will benefit them greatly in the long run.

This is the album that separates the mass fans from the real fans. If that makes any sense....

Yup... And I respect the hell out of them for it. As much shit as I gave them for Babel I can see myself sticking around much longer than expected.

Debacle of Babel? Really? I thought that was very good, not as good as Sigh No More, but still quite good. They are definitely a unique taste. It's nice to play around the house. I get complaints from the wife if I jam up Get Behind Me Satan, but all is happy when I put on Mumford.

Still on the fence about the new sound. There are some songs that are growing on me like 'Hot Gates' and 'Just Smoke'. It should be interesting to see how they sound live. I am actually going to check them out next weekend when they play in Seaside. If you want to hear a couple of great songs by Marcus Mumford, check out the New Basement Tapes. The songs "When I Get My Hands on You" and "Kansas City" are quite good.

I love the new album, aside from a few songs.. Believe is awful. Hot Gates, Broad Shouldered Beasts, Cold Arms, masterpieces... Babel is one of my favorite albums of all time... I can not WAIT to see Mumford & Sons again

Still in CO, and PISSED OFF I flew to Raleigh to see that band... Mumford & Sons did it right, Pearl Jam could learn a lot from them... As for the new album, I love it... aside from Believe, that song is god awful

Digging the new album. Have listened to it 3 or 4 times all the way through. It's familiar, yet very different. Really dig "42", "Guiding Light", "Beloved", "If I Say", and LOVE the title track, "Delta". The album seems to be filled with a lot of love song, per se. I look forward to digging into it further.

Wish they were coming closer to me on the tour.

I saw Mumford a few nights ago in Sydney, they were amazing. They also did a small Sydney show last night, and the videos I've seen are awesome. They also mixed up the setlist a bit and included Greta Ray singing Forever and Mumford did an amazing I'm on Fire cover

We have seen them live twice and they were really good. Was pretty surprised how short the 2nd show was, but probably just spoiled by PJ shows.

The new album though...not digging it except for maybe 3 or 4 songs.

Going to see them again in March.

Just went to a show with my daughter last night and the venue handed me a card for Mumford & Sons.  I would love to go but there is no one to go with me.  Just not one to go on my own.  (I'll leave that to my husband.)  Gonna sit this one out but perhaps one day . . .

    Enjoy!
