Thumbs down for the Barclays Center. It's clean. I'll give it that much but just so generic and zero variety for food and beverages.

brutal loss. the 5 point play when you were up 6 late was a killer after the refs gave Davidson the awful timeout on the loose ball after the missed foul shot. was cheering for you guys to pull it out but such a brutal way to end the season.

did you train up to Brooklyn or stay up there? haven't made it up there for the A10 yet. Miss the Atlantic City days.

Miss the AC days as well. We drove and stayed at the Grand Hyatt and took the subway to the Barclays, 20-25 minutes.

No, though i have done some evaluation at the ABCD camp a couple of times. I have some friends of mine who are scouts and i'll keep stats for them(and i like doing it anyway).

The story i got from a scouting friend, who was originally from Waulkegan, Illinois, and still knows some scouts out there in Illinois, was told that Brunson was not going to Temple even before his old man's "mishap"(what the hell was he thinking? I guess he wasn't). Rumor is Brunson didn't want to follow in his dad's footsteps, as far as college was concerned. But, who really knows the story? But, i do wonder if he would've went there if John Chaney was still the coach?

Never really know with most of these recruits what they'll do until they sign that letter of intent.

I've been running around, watching HS games(and now a good friend is in the hospital) i haven't had time to really study the brackets. But, KenCROOKY is probably a given. I've liked Gonzaga all year, but will the weak conference play hurt them? like in the past? This is Tom Fews best chance to make it the Final 4, IMO. I HOPE Nova can make it, but i think they may have a tough game in the 2nd round(yeah, i still call it the 2nd round, not the 3rd round>LOL>those first 4 games are play-in games as far as i'm concerned) I think it will come down to Zona-Wisconsin in the West Final(and i kinda hope it is cuz i think both of those teams have somewhat of a shot of beating KenCROOKY.

What are some "SLEEPER" teams that could make it to at least the sweet-16, or farther?

few of my "sleeper" teams are Dayton, Georgia St. and S.F. Austin. Of course they will all probably lose in the first round,

That's what a 1 seed is supposed to do. On to NC State.....I'm happy they are the opponent. LSU's bigs were scaring me last night. I fell asleep thinking LSU was going to win. NC State is formidable but they remind me of a lot of the Big East teams Nova has played all year in that they are more guard oriented. I think Nova matches up better against them.

pretty shocked (but quite happy) that Nova lost so early. thought they were setup for at least an Elite 8 this year. they looked like a totally different team last night compared to how they played during the season. Arch, Hart, Ennis and Ocefu came up very small. 3x in 6 years as a 1 or 2 seed not making it to the Sweet 16. hard to believe.

quite the kick to the nuts. ochefu killed them. and he was the main difference all year so you figured they were more equipped to handle a game like that when the perimeter game wasn't working. they fucking missed about 10 or more shots from within 3 feet. you normally make close to 60% of them and it's like a 10 point win.....then seeing virginia go down made it all the more difficult to bear. path to the elite 8/final four was setting up nicely. oh well. nc state played their asses off. gotta tip your cap.

the crying piccolo girl has been pretty funny, at least. she played with the roots on fallon last night. haha

Had to be tough watching that one. I really didn't get to see Nova play this year.

BJ Johnson will be transfering to LaSalle from Syracuse.. He's the son of Bobby Johnson who played on the L-Train LaSalle teams.

so college hoops gets started again Friday night. My Hawks open up against Drexel, Temple is playing #1 North Carolina and Nova gets FDU. Not sure if LaSalle is playing.

Hawks should be a bit better this year. I'm thinking about 18-12 or so. Maybe NIT. If thinkgs break right who knows though. Should have the best player in the A10 in Deandre Bembry. already talk that he is out for the NBA after this his jr. year. He played in the Lebron camp in the summer and kicked ass supposedly. Martelli re-upped though. no years specified but seems to be an additional 2 years added to this year so most likely at least 3 more years of Phil.

nova should dominate the Big East and Big 5 again. interesting to see how Brunson plays and how Jay manages 3 quality point guards in Arch, Brunson and Booth. With those 3 Hart Ochefu and Jenkins Nova is stacked again.

Temple should be good too but should be a bubble team again I think. Most i've seen have them predicted around mid pack in the AAC.

LaSalle should be around 8 or 9 in the A10. Jordan Price will shoot them in and out of games. Frontcourt is totally new.

Penn will be atrocious again. New coach is a local guy Steve Donahue. He played at Ursinius I think. I played against him in pick up games back in the day. Seemed like a good dude.

Nationally Maryland should be great. Also look out for Oklahoma this year. I think they are ranked just outside the top 10 but should be really good. I think Nova gets them at some point too.

Closer game than i anticipated between St. Joe's and Drexel.

Temple got blown out by UNC (guess that was kinda expected since UNC is ranked #1).

Nova kicked ass.
