Nine shows. Not bad. They almost always add a few more. Great to know they'll be back out on the road. Can play anything they want since LB will be two years old by then. Should be a really nice run for the SA fans. Boots will kick ass. Enjoy!!!0

Because the fans in South America (edit: LATIN America, sorry) are fucking insane for Pearl Jam. The build up was for them, which is fair! Many excited Latin Americans (and one Greek) today!Brane_of_JFK said:
But if they plan on announcing more stuff, why the build up for only SA shows?PJ_Soul said:
They'll probably announce more stuff at another time. At least a couple of one-offs..... Or maybe an EV solo tour or something.Agg said:Well, this is disappointing. I have no desire to visit SA, so looks like no 2015 show for me.
I'm surprised to see how little Americans care about South Americans, lol.

Obviously the band loves playing there. Selling out stadiums when not all north american arena shows don't. The crowds are insane. Etc.Brane_of_JFK said:

Everyone who blatantly made stuff up about U.S. dates should have their login revoked for three days or something.
So lame.

Lol. I still can't wrap my head around why anyone would've thought anything other than a Central/South American tour... when the newsletter pre-announcement had a picture of a concert crowd chock full of latin americans.Blredyellow said:Cheers to everyone who spent days making stuff up about U.S. dates.

These shows are in November. Lots of time before then, to play elsewhere.0

Indeed. Where else do people sing along to the guitar parts? That 2011 Buenos Aires show...Betterman...INSANE!!
The only other date I've heard rumored is that NYC festival for September.

Congrats Latin America.
Now, for the rest of the world, how about adding some new PJ merchandise in the 10club store to heal the pain?0 -
Jeez.....they played the US in 2013 and 2014, and people are complaining about no US dates?
