    so true. this is totally drives me nuts. seeing someone in an expensive sports car driving like an old grandmother.

    Inside sales is the number 1 region in my company right now
    The average outside sales rep does 3 lunch and learns a week at a cost of about $50 per lunch. Multiply that by 50 weeks and you get a grand total of $7500. Multiply that by 36 outside reps= $270,000 a year in lunch.

    I've done maybe 5 ever

    I just want a funking sandwich every once in a while.

    How many people does the rep buying lunch for? I've had to arrange lots of lunch and learns (once or twice a month) for about 15-20 people...we usually got Old Spaghetti Factory or Red Robin, that's a lot of money.

    usually about 6-10 people in the office and it's typically Panera or Pizza. Not as expensive as Red Robin, I'm sure.

    Every time you get a lump sum of money (tax return, gift, etc), something on your car or house is bound to break, forcing you to use said money on repairs instead of fun stuff.

    Do Not start cleaning your fridge out while waiting for dinner to finish cooking. This will surely result in a loss of appetite and leave you with no choice but to drink beer for dinner.
