Question for those of you who were at PJ20

http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail_related.asp?id=1402
Can you tell me if Other Side is the standard PJ version or does it include a vocal by Joseph Arthur? Is it even the same song? Basically i'm trying to establish if Joe was involved in the B side. Thanks in advance.

According to the info in the link there are 2 tracks on the CD, When The Fire Comes which JA does perform on and Other Side but the label seems to make no mention of the latter in the image.Manchester 17.8.09, Manchester 21.6.12, Copenhagen 10.7.12, Manchester 28.7.12 (EV), Phoenix 19.11.13, San Diego 21.11.13, LA 23.11.13, LA 24.11.13, Vienna 25.6.14, Leeds 8.7.14, London 6.6.17 (EV), London 18.6.18, Krakow 3.7.18, London 17.7.18, Dublin 3.7.19 (EV)0

I remember listening to it but it has been a while.
It was a demo version of Other Side.
I thought it was Jeff signing.
but I am not sure now.livefootsteps.org/user/?usr=446

No, it isn't.www.cluthelee.com0

There was some mention of project when Joseph Arthur was on stage - he had Matt, Mike and Jeff up there to play live with him on one of the side stages for a few songs. That project turned into RNDM without Matt and Mike of course.www.cluthelee.com0

When The Fire Comes had JA, JA, Matt and Mike on it if I recall - and I remember getting that single thinking they were doing a full album. Thought maybe there was mention of it on the single too, but I do distinctly remember Joe saying he and the guys were recording something. Anyway. The songs they all did together on stage were badass.www.cluthelee.com0

I got that single at PJ20. It is the same song but not the standard PJ version. There are two vocalists on the track but I'm pretty sure it's Jeff singing both parts.0

as others have said, it is a unique version to the cd, with jeff singing. it sounds a bit more polished to me than being simply a demo, but at the same time it's pretty basic. i would be very surprised if anyone else other than jeff was playing on it.0

This is accurate. I remember it the same way. Joseph Arthur's live sets were really bad ass with jeff, Matt and Mike. They killed the few songs they did. I actually recall liking the songs even better than what turned into the RNDM album (which I do enjoy).2-feign-reluctance said:When The Fire Comes had JA, JA, Matt and Mike on it if I recall - and I remember getting that single thinking they were doing a full album. Thanks for the responses. Before this descends into a thread about drinking ;-) I'll take it that Joseph Arthur is categorically not on this version of Other Side??Manchester 17.8.09, Manchester 21.6.12, Copenhagen 10.7.12, Manchester 28.7.12 (EV), Phoenix 19.11.13, San Diego 21.11.13, LA 23.11.13, LA 24.11.13, Vienna 25.6.14, Leeds 8.7.14, London 6.6.17 (EV), London 18.6.18, Krakow 3.7.18, London 17.7.18, Dublin 3.7.19 (EV)0

Joseph Arthur sing this version of Other Side and was recorded with Jeff Ament on bass, Richard Stuverud on drums and Arthur on guitar.Brotherjohnno9 said:For those of you who were at PJ20 and received this single:

It's not a PJ version. No Ed. Definitely multiple tracks for vocals. At first listen I thought they double-tracked Jeff's vocals. Now I'm thinking maybe that's Joseph as one of the vocals. ... In short, I'm of no help on this. Sorry."I'm not the paper, I'm more like the fold ..."0

OK so no one can say for certain? If anyone who has it would be willing to send me an MP3 i'd be really grateful if that's not breaking the rules?
