I get the curiosity, but not sure the difference it makes in the end.

What's your take on it? Do you think the personal lens and view might change, even be biased, based on knowing that?

For me, it's been a pretty cool - and fortunately on-going - experience to share so much in time, emotion, words...the baring of ourselves and then some...with (save for one or two) people I've never met in the traditional sense. It's a spectrum of political and personal views that I'm not sure could or should be compartmentalized.

As to the initial question, I say "it doesn't matter much to me".

The people of America would have a multitude of parties and platforms if we could get out from under the influence of big money. Big money controls the two party system and will never let go.
One thing to never forget is that at least half of Americans are just dumb. It's a fact ~X(
I read today 41% of American adults think antibiotics treat viruses. A higher percentage believe houses can be haunted by ghosts than believe vaccines are safe and effective.

The particular music / song we've got going at the moment, it fits (Highwaymen).

Think you folks are more than OK, and while I don't know you, PJfan, I sincerely appreciate sincerely-asked questions and answers.

    (also - Last12's a stand-up guy...although BB may fight me on that :D )

Easy.I agree with you it doesn't matter, but I also acknowledge that in these here parts It's clearly predominantly Democratic. Those of us who are not, are much smaller in number.

I'd say there's a lot of dems but there's also a lot of indys here as well. Republican, not so much, unless they just don't post.

I belong to the shit party. I shit on all of them. It's to bad there isn't the American Party. You know, the one that actually DOES shit for the American people, NOT corporations. Now wouldn't that be a concept?

Been a registered independent ("unenrolled" is the actual term here in Massachusetts) since I turned 18 and voted for the first time. That was 21 years ago.
