Top Female Performer You've Seen Live

I'm watching Tina Turner in concert in Holland and got me thinking how many here have seen a female act in concert. I've seen her live 5 times the first MD/VA on The Private Dancer Tour when Mister Mister opened for her was the best. The last was in VA when Cyndi Lauper opened while being 5 months pregnant. TT can put on a hell of a show in those heels for two hours.

So what's your list of female performers as single acts or lead in a band?

Tina Turner
Pat Benatar
Heart?
Christi Hynde
Patti Labelle
Til Tuesday
Natalie Cole
Blondie
Cyndi Lauper
Britney Spears....I got dragged to this one
Beyoncé....got dragged to this one too
Mary J Bliage
Queen Latifa

How could I forget....
Joan Jett.....she went a rival high school in MD....SHE was very good
Oh Madonna...forgettable and I like her somewhat

There's more and I know I butchered some of there names for sure.

Her act on stage is ok, but met her backstage and man does she have a nasty low down attitude. I'll just say she wasn't classy, she's got a mouth like the worse sailer!

Sarah McLachlan is awesome. Performed best cover ever of Solsbury Hill when I watched her play.

Erika Wennerstrom from the Heartless Bastards impressed the hell out of me as well.

I was also impressed with Brandi Carlisle supporting Dave Matthews last year at the Gorge.

    Cool thread.

Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's is amazing live.
I saw X and the singer for them was very good too.
Regine from Arcade Fire is flat out fantastic.
    Ani DiFranco is brilliant.
Tegan and Sarah perform great live.
Kim from Matt&Kim is a great performer. She's half the act and is a great show woman.
Iggy Azaela was really good at ACL this year too.

That's all I can think of that I have personally witnessed.

Anyone ever catch Pink live? I've seen her on TV and her act looks amazing.

And^^^ to Samjam who sees EVERYONE in concert. I saw ChVrches

    Glad to see Ani mentioned.

Reading through this thread, it struck me that I've never attended the show of a female.

Would love to see her live someday, along with Joni Mitchell and Margo Timmons of the Cowboy Junkies...and maybe Natalie Merchant too.

Juliette Lewis, belive it or not, is as rock n roll as it gets. Dirty, sweaty, sexy rock n roll. Saw her twice for two different tours...blew me away both times.

Melissa Auf der Maur is also awesome.
    Darwinspeed, all.

I never thought about it before, but I just realized, to my surprise, that I've never seen a female performer in concert by choice. I guess I must have seen a few at festivals, but can't remember. And I saw Tegan and Sara open for a band once, and I hated them a lot.

Milla Jovovich falls into that category too. Nice work with Puscifer.

And KD Lang's voice...holy shit, with its purity.

No way dude. Shes a superstar. She put out one of the best albums of 2013 (and 14 seeing as it came out 2 weeks before the previous year ended).

Some of the most progressive soul/r&b out there. Plus a killer voice.

I saw her once in Vancouver, and looking through a tour list online it seems it must have been 1986. Eurythmics, so just her and Dave Stewart. My memory is she was great but Stewart wasn't much of a performer.
