This has become situation stupid.

But we all know this would never have happened if every school employee was armed. And there was a squad of militarily equipped police guarding all the halls and all the classrooms and every place a student might be found.
:-O0 -
It's not even the end of the yr yet we might still get a few more of these , at this point i don't even get upset anymore it is what it is we are a gun driven nation and will be for ever ......At least in my own mind i haven't contributed to this major problem , i don't own guns i never have never will .....jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

You know, I was just thinking with all of the threads about the police, and how the odds of their getting shot or killed are so high on a daily basis. Now we have to add students and school faculty to the mix?Thirty Bills Unpaid said:

Stupid, yes...and ridiculously sad too. Agreed, this isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Shooters on the Run.Im sure we will get full OJ coverage this evening on all the news networks.
This has been happening to often and I fear days of more tightened security on campuses are coming soon.
Side note.I wonder if the members of the community where the shooting happened are feeling like they are in the mood to protest tonight while a shooter is on the loose,or if they are going to let these brave men and women do their job.I have a feeling they love them some cops tonight.Go figure.0 -
Hands up, don't shoot. Unless you see the suspect in my yard!rr165892 said:Shooters on the Run.Im sure we will get full OJ coverage this evening on all the news networks.

Cal,not to sidetrack but I never really pay attention to people's concert notes at the bottom. But I just noticed You were at the Vote For Change show at the Rodeo grounds in Kissimmee.I had tix but my kid who was like 13-14 at the time had a last minute travel Hockey tournament pop up and we had to fly up to Boston. My bro got my tix and said it was a great show.He did at least she'll out 30 ducketts for a blue fitted PJ baseball cap which is still in rotation 10 years later.I regretted not going as another family said my kid coulda flew up with them(after we arrived).I also still have that horrible skinny little poster.Post edited by rr165892 on0

I'd say the issue is much deeper than the weapon of choice. What propels a person - let alone if this was a kid - to get to such a point of violence?josevolution said:

Several of these mass shootings has taken place in the great northwest in the past few years. Just a random observation.0

I agree it's not about the weapons but to try to tie this in with the anti police protest that are happening is stupid ....hedonist said:

It's my opinion. And after nearly 10 police bashing threads on these boards I think it's important to note that these cops are always there for us. But we don't appreciate them until we need them and that is point I was trying to make .But thanks for calling it stupid Jose.Much appreciated.0

Hey ok stupid was not the correct wording i apologize but to ask if folks in that community might want to protest is the last thing on people s minds at this time .....i myself do appreciate what the police & all 1st responders do every day .....rr165892 said:It's my opinion. And after nearly 10 police bashing threads on these boards I think it's important to note that these cops are always there for us.
