It's my opinion. And after nearly 10 police bashing threads on these boards I think it's important to note that these cops are always there for us. But we don't appreciate them until we need them and that is point I was trying to make .But thanks for calling it stupid Jose.Much appreciated.
Hey ok stupid was not the correct wording i apologize but to ask if folks in that community might want to protest is the last thing on people s minds at this time .....i myself do appreciate what the police & all 1st responders do every day .....
No worries Jose.I also can't stand all the violence.Im also equally sick of all the protesting and cop bashing.IMO a lot of kids and young people are protesting just to be part of something and have no idea what racial profiling or true police harassment is(Yes,I'm talking about the affluent white college kids). Its doing more harm then good, and will have no net gain in the long term. I don't take the school shooting thing lightly. My family was personally impacted by it a few weeks back with the FSU shooting. My daughters best friend walked out of the library 5 min before the shootings ,a neighbor kid was in the library under a table, and my 23 yr old son who had been studying at the library every night that week at that same time as the shooting ,chose on that evening ,for whatever reason to give it a rest and head home.We as parents worried because he wasn't answering his phone until the following morning so it was a scary few hours. So yeah I get it.
Hey 1st of all really glad your kids are ok that is some scary , I believe protesting for the right causes are needed in our society we as citizens should never give those rights up !

Thank you and I agree. Now if we could narrow in on what a "right cause "to protest is.Maybe that's a whole new thread.
