Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Dave Matthews Band’s Stefan Lessard are among the musicians featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming film Horrible Bosses 2 starring Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day. Composer Christopher Lennertz spoke to We Are Movie Geeks about the “all-star band” of musicians he put together for the score.
“The goal for the score for Horrible Bosses 2 was to be as rock-n’-roll as we could be. We wanted to make sure it sounded authentic so we approached it like a record as opposed to a typical scoring session. I had Pearl Jam’s Michael McCready and Dave Matthews Band’s Stefan Lessard recording while they were on tour to give us an authentic vibe that was appropriate for the movie,” Lennertz said.
Horrible Bosses 2 is due out November 26 while the soundtrack will be made available November 25.

DMB are talented musicians and I think that's where Mike shows interest and respect to do collaborations. DM himself and that noise, I mean his voice...that's another story but I digress0
