Yeah, it's an absolutely terrible album cover (won't even mention the album). I guess I understand what they were going for, but it fell flat on its face.smarchee said:

ok, guess that makes it less creepy as it does look like an old man hugging a younger boy's chest, still this is the best album cover idea they could come up with?BIGDaddyWil said:
Yes, new U2 record on white vinyl. That's the drummer Larry Mullen Jr., hugging his son.smarchee said:

I thought something else was going on there. It's provocative looking, that's for sure...smarchee said:

I'm actually going to say that it's the worst album cover I have seen from anyone in recent years, and maybe ever. There might be some exceptions, like those really weird portrait style ones from the 70s, but at least those carry some humour.

Sounds very nice, clear, crisp and warm, just like all the Smashing Pumpkins reissues. I think I read somewhere that Billy Corgan is a bit of a vinyl aficionado...lolobugg said:

while everyone else lauded the gnr and u2, i'm going to go ahead and say 'hell yeah' on the peter gabriel. i'd like to score that one some day- it's the only studio record i don't have. that probably wasn't cheap, yeah?BIGDaddyWil said:0 -
I scored it on Ebay for $66 including shipping. Great album! It's not the 200gram quiet vinyl. That one goes for way more. This copy is an original press from Europe. Cleaned both records and they sound great!AndySlash said:
