Yeah, I hear ya. I was kinda being sarcastic about the guy with 35 stickers. I have not made a commitment to anyone in regard to the upcoming tour merch. You cannot underestimate others greed. I wish I could guarantee stuff to people.

This is genuinely my biggest concern about the show tomorrow. I have promised a poster for donation to ElwayVedder/Operation Yellow Ribbon and I've promised stickers to a couple people. I'm more worried about merch than getting home from the show!

Have you guys seen ebay? The shit was up before the show even started. $100+ for a shit, $15 for a sticker, $30 for a pin. Part of me is saying that these guys have to be buying directly from the staff in an under the table deal outside of the merch tent/line that people wait on for 3 hours.

What are they gonna sell next?

I guess there must be a demand, but in my estimation... this is taking it too far.

Pulled straight up the arena, paid $15 to park 3-4 minutes from the arena, went to pick up my tickets around 5:30, saw the merch line that was at least 2-3 hours long and said fuck that. Went down to get into the pit, walked straight into the pit with no wait, was dead center less than 30 feet from the stage, walked straight upstairs to use the bathroom and it happened to have a merch booth right beside it. Got in line and got a poster and shirt in less than 10 minutes. Literally within 20 minutes of getting to Cincinnati I was parked, picked up my tickets, had a shirt and poster and was great position to see the band. No complaints from me.

Wish I'd hear a few more similar stories to remove the "you just got lucky" factor...

Yes, they were selling the beanie and scarf. My wife got the beanie. Looks better in person. I don't recall seeing the wrist bands.

I guess I am different than a lot of folks. Why the need to have proof of a show that you did not attend? I agree with a limit of items. A person does not need more than 3-4 stickers. 1 tshirt, and 1 poster. I used to be the same way with feeling like I had to "complete the collection'. This went away when I became an adult.

I agree with this, I only want stickers from shows I attended, but I also can't criticize people for wanting to collect others. It just sucks that they have to buy multiple stickers to trade and then others miss out. It would also be nice if people understood the difference between "want" and "need" and didn't pay outrageous amounts for these things, but then again, a fool and his money...

Heard lots of reports of people buying 40 stickers as well. They need to go ahead and set a limit it seems. It's too bad, I liked getting the stickers last year cause I didn't have to wait in a stupid line and could just walk up and grab a couple. I did manage to snag a pin and got shirts I wanted easily. Poster was gone quickly but I wouldn't sweat this one guys..the Brooklyn Pendletons are still in the shop yeah? You'll get your chance.
