    This weekend is gonna rock!

Gaslight Anthem and Against Me - 9/11 in DC
Gaslight Anthem w/ Jimmy Eat World and Against Me - 9/12 in Philly
Jack White - 9/14 at Merriweather

Not looking like this will happen, but there is a chance.... The Black Keys with Cage The Elephant - 9/20
    Shindig Festival - 9/27
    - Jane's Addicition, Rise Against, Halestorm, J. Roddy Walston and the Business

I Snuck in a 3rd Gaslight Anthem show on Saturday at PNC Band Arts Center in Central NJ. Home town show for TGA, and it lived up to it. Leaving for Jack White in an hour!!
How was jack white? I'm going to see him Fri night in Atlanta.

  • I would also like to hear a Jack White review, I grabbed a single the other night to see him at Fenway tomorrow night ($45 off stubhub, 10th row...... They're still available on redsox.com for $85!)

Just saw Jack at Farm Aid. short set, but awesome energy. he can pretty much swing it from full out rock to country. Pretty much a combination of the two bands he was touring with two years ago. Which I though were both awesome but instead of getting different "shows" based on the female/male band it was a combination of the energy. Also he has a sick stage setup. Haircut was pretty rough though.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the hair cut..
But the show was awesome! A little under 2 hours. I was about 8th row in the GA Pit near the stage. It was a low stage, so the sigh lines were difficult, but I got lucky most of the night. He is a total rock star. Played almost all of the songs I wanted to hear, including Icky Thump and Missing Pieces. Also got Fight for My Love, from the new video. He goes back and forth from rockers like that to Hotel Yorba or We are Gonna Be Friends, which I am kinda scared to admit that I love both songs, and they are totally country. He doesn't have a written setlist, so it's awesome to see how he can start the next song, and the band follows, or he goes up to the member who starts the next song and they start it. They had a couple solo duels, which is fun. And they played a full song inside of Slowly Turning Into You, which was an awesome twist.

Yeap, my dad took my brother (10 Years old) and I (12 years old) when 2 of his friends backed out last minute. Seated tickets in the 400 section of an amphitheater, I pretty much watched the tv screens the whole time cause I'm short haha.
I wasn't really a fan back then, but I knew Evolution, Daughter, and Alive. Played those 3 in a row in the encore and I have been addicted ever since. :D

So glad I went..... What a freakin show. The drummer is phenomenal, and how cute is Lilly Mae? I was in love the second she started singing.

White is about as legit as rock n roll gets these days, what a great performer!
