Same here. This is the first time in a very very long time when I haven't had anything on the horizon.... I really want to get a ticket for The Cure and at least 2 other shows, but Christmas time blows. I don't feel like I can spend anything on concerts right before this stupid materialistic holiday.
(I guess I should be relieved that PJ isn't coming anywhere near me in the Spring... but I'm not )

Saturday night was my last show for the year. So far I have zero concert tickets in hand for next year. I did just purchase tickets for the Heros and Villains fan fest next month though.

Saw Alice Cooper open for Motley Crüe the other night. Great show, probably never see a better "opening" act in my life. I'm glad I went just to see Alice.
Mötley Crüe was awful, from fat Vince Neil barely being able to sing (he was out of breath most of the time) to awkwardly snuggling up to the backup singer (it was really uncomfortable) to the long drawn out boring Mick Mars guitar solo, it was really just lame. They should retire.
Only high points for me were Tommy Lee's drum rollercoaster. Cheesy music but still entertaining in a Disneyland kind of way and Nikki Sixx's flame thrower on the bass. Everyone except Mars had some canned bullshit thanking for the support over the years. Bought these tickets to take my stepsons, who love Crüe. Kids these days, they have no rock n roll of their own. Reminds me of the 15 year old who heard Dinosaur Jr, Nirvana, and Soundgarden for the first time at a small house party in a small Canadian frozen snowboarding town one night in 91. I couldn't relate to anything and was consumed by the Doors, Genesis, Rolling Stones and the Who until that point. It all changed that night.
