  • When I saw the show in Vegas… Oneohtrix Point Never went on at 8-ish… Soundgarden at 915-ish and NIN around 11…

    The opener was completely unnecessary...

Thanks! That's a late start for SG. Makes sense in Vegas. Hard to imagine they'll come on that late in central jersey though. I believe its an 11:00 curfew. Ticket time is 7:00pm

7pm may be when "doors open"… I called the venue in Vegas and they said the first act would go on at 8, but the doors would open at 7… Might wanna call ahead…?

Planning on going to the SG/NIN show at Jones Beach. Still need tickets btw too. If any of y'all got extras to sell. But also having never been to Jones Beach i was thinking making a weekend out of it. Is the beach nice is it worth hanging there for the weekend after the show?

Tomorrow night at DTE, looking forward to this. But now I wish I hadn't bought fan club tickets and waited to buy cheaper lawn tickets from stub hub. Too many concerts that I want to go to right now, this one was too expensive!

Anybody headed to Charlotte on August 7th for this? I got my tickets for $20. I got an email from SG and got that price for lawn tix. I'm soooo stoked! 2nd time for NIN,1st for SG. Hope Matt will be drumming. Wish SG were closing, but it will still be phenomonal, I'm sure!

I'm in section 7 almost dead center. I paid way more than $20! I'm sure it'll be worth it though. I've never seen Soundgarden so i'm very excited about that. Matt will be drumming...Matt Chamberlain though, right? Also has their been any tour posters for either band?

I had the same thought about getting to my seat around 8 and missed over 20 minutes of Soundgarden's set... My friend and I were sitting in my car in the parking lot drinking beers and heard Spoonman. I couldn't believe how early they went on.
Using up my Ovaltine... like Ovaltine.

I'm guessing that venue has a curfew. Was the whole thing wrapped up by 11?

Last night in Toronto, Soundgarden went on at 7:45 and NIN at 9:30.
Venue has an 11:00 curfew, so it's necessary for SG to go on that early if they want to play a decent amount of time.

Thanks! I'm guessing these opening bands are like playing when the doors open at 7.

Saw SG/NIN at Tinley Park Thursday. Great show. SG just kicked ass but only played 14 songs...I was hoping for more.

NIN was great....I've never been a huge fan but the crowd was overwhelmingly NIN. The lines at the merch booths told the story.
