Was in GA the first night right on the rail in front of Ed night one and ended up standing behind a family of giants night 2 (people in the Netherrlands are very tall!) Was an amazing experience to be at a show in Europe and experience Amsterdam again. All in all no complaints!
    Be sound.

Nights one and two were my first international PJ shows.....I am from USA. My husband and I were at first a little unnerved by the docile crowd, but we didn't care. PJ moves us, PJ makes us feel, makes us dance, cry, feel, love. I believe by the end of night 1, the people near us were moved by our emotional joyous response to this show. We ended up having a more than fantastic time.. We couldn't believe the setlist, thought we were in heaven. THANK YOU PEARL JAM. We love you.
  • Was there a crowd??? I didn't notice a crowd. I noticed a really great show on stage. Thank you PJ!!!

We were in the first show, with 10C tickets just a couple of meters from Mike. Amazing night, thanks to PJ, thanks to a true setlist with deep PJ songs but overall thanks to all our friends met during the show! Yesterday we were in Milan, but seats on firts red ring...great show, great place but our minds are been lost in Ziggo!

Is it the weed that makes them Dutch so reserved. Cant be cuz when they won the soccer match the City was going nuts. Have to agree with this guy. Even Eddie with a broken wing moved more than this crowd. And oh ya, them Dutch people are GIANTS. I am 6'1" and that was the first time I was one of the "short guys" at a show.

That being said, I HAD A BLAST ANYWAY! I LOVE AMSTERDAM. Havent gone for about 6 years because of the dollar falling off the currency scale but the place is flat out FUN FUN FUN>

Great show, highlights for me Footsteps and Who You Are, Jeremy and RVM and the general acoustics at Ziggo Dome! I had Ten Club GA Tickets and was on the middle and have to say that this is the worst crowd ever! No dancing, no jumping, no singing along apart from the "hit" songs, I felt like at a festival with non PJ fans chatting or sending sms on their phones, or just standing there...really dissapointing, even if I'm getting older (almost 40) as all of us fans from the early days I still have the energy to enjoy a gig the way it should be on the floor...for the next one just get a seat!

i would say as a whole the dutch smoke way less weed than the americans. the dutch (imo i dont know any dutch personally) have a very "whatever, as long as youre not hurting anyone do whatever you like - i dont care" attitude, really seems like they dont care what anyone else does. might also explain the locals sitting in the reserved seats, or being more laid back in GA. I was respectfully going nuts in GA (n1) and didnt have any problems, and i stood in the reserved (n2) and no one said anything, or really seemed to mind or care. doesnt mean they didnt have a great time, but they just seem to have a "whatever, go ahead as you like, im more reserved myself" attitude.

I was at Amsterdam 1 and it was a great show. These comments about a dead crowd leave me baffled. In my experience, with Pearl Jam, the crowd has very little impact on their performance. When they are on their game, they are on. That's it. I was at the Budokan on March 3, 2003, no pit, all seated show, typical Japanese audience - respectful and quiet between songs and during softer sections. Bottom line - the best live versions of Release and Better Man (Ed had to sing the whole song since the crowd didn't come in on cue - language issues) I've heard, stunning versions of U and Breath, and a wonderfully tight performance. It's all on youtube somewhere. Edit - found it ("Better Man" at 1:03:50) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1ENgg22sew

This was my first PJ show outside of America and we had an absolute blast. It didn't hurt that I got engaged on Friday in Amsterdam, took my new finacee to her first PJ show, met McCready randomly outside the Rijksmuseum, and saw Eddie play the show is a fucking Walter Payton jersey (I'm from Chicago)! Thought the band sounded great, Ziggo Dome was a sweet venue (minus the ridiculous beer token thing they have going on), but do agree the crowd was meh. Was on Mike's side in reserved seating in 2nd row and 75% of the people sat the majority of the show. It does take something away from my experience when the people around me aren't hanging on every word to every song like I am, especially in the supposed 10c section. In any case, didn't stop me from standing and enjoying every second of one the greatest weekends of my life. Thank you PJ and 10c for doing what you do!!

Amazing night, amazing sound, and the Ziggo Dome is now one of my favorite venues for many reasons.

Any know where to find a high-res image of the poster (the magnifying glass one)? Gonna need that for the iTunes album artwork.

Show was awesome.. Was on the floor and Dutch folks are frigging tall! Lol
Ziggo Dome has great sound. Great setlist. Quit whining about the songs you DONT hear and love the ones you do
Was surprised to look up and see everyone sitting. As I am writing these reviews after coming home from a three concert euro tour I have to say it is a blast to meet other PJ fans from across the pond.
Looking forward to Moline and St Paul in October and our first 10c seats!

How many different buttons did they sell at the merchandise? Unfortunately I only bought the windmill. I didn´t realise that there was even one more ... the one with the tulips. Was there a third one?
