    Glad to be here. I like the idea of an aussie post, I think of us all sitting round on the beach with a coldie or 2 (or 3, or 4, erm..), having a bbq and shooting the breeze about PJ. It's great, and not soemthing I get to do too much unless I'm with my sister (the shooting the breeze bit, the drinking I manage quite well at!!).

    No need to wirry, the drinking bit is a fine art! Uni taught me well, it was half my motivation for getting into honours - more drinking!!! Am almost considering going back to do masters so i can drink more! Not sure the mortgage would allow it tho!

    I'm doing honours now too...less than 2 months to write my thesis! (results came back way late :o ) and I only really did it coz I didn't know what else to do with myself!

    I used the excuse that my questionnaires came back late too, truth was I am lazy!!! I wrote my thesis in a week, it wasn't the most pleasant experience in my life and it was reflected in my final mark, but you'll be fine. 2 months is a long time. Are you working too? I was working full time at a shit job so that sucked arse, but am glad I did it or I'd still be at shit job!!!

    haha and I wish the old thread never died...damn trudie! ;):p, I still remember the day the old thread started and it caught my attention!! :D

    Doing honours in Geoscience...basically mapping distribution of pollution (copper, lead, zinc, etc) in Oatley bay in Sydney, determining how it got there, etc. All funded by local council so that's all sweet! ;)

    Morning all! how are we all today?

    Joel is at the BDO today and ive got nothing to do so i thought it might be a good day for some quality whoring :D

    have to find some boxes to start packing up the house.... its going to take forever...


    a bit of news, Joel cooked Maynard's meal at his restaruant last night.... he signed Joels copy of Saliaval "To Joel MJK"
    hehe he's all happy as Tool is Joel's favourite band after PJ.

    Grats on the House news again Babe!! Its awesome!! When do you move in??
    Asher has been eating quite well hun.... although we havent been consistently taking the bowl away. Actually, it ws after he had his *cough*Operation*cough that his appetite improved. Immediately actually. He's doing well and his coat is slowly growing back after that stupid grooming lady shaved him back to nothing :mad: never again!

    Lucky Joel getting to meet Maynard!! Thats cool. Bet he was stoked!

    hehe thanks hon... settlement is on the 29th of march so im going to fly up there on the 30th.... im so excited... hehe we've already worked out where we're going to put all of our pj tour posters and stuff! and we bought a new bookcase especially for our vinyl! haha

    good to hear that Asher has settled down. hormones can make them go crazy :D

    Nearly married..... 3 weeks away!! :eek:
    Got pretty ,uch everything sorted :) Im a pretty organised chick when I wanna be ;)
    Not nervous yet.... Andy and I fly back to Victoria next Saturday, so were tere 2 weeks before the wedding giving me heaps of time to confirm everything and make sure I havent forgotten anything! Guess i'll start getting butterflies a few days before the wedding.... we cant wait!! and were especially looking forward to the honeymoon....ahhh Fiji, its gonna be great!

    house is back over in Port Douglas.... so i can finally get back to zookeeping and doing what i love. and back to the lovely humidity!

    what are you doing for your hens night? i think thats when the nerves finally set in for me.... then and the rehearsal!

    hey there! congrats on the engagement! how are you doing with all the planning?

    we used Crown of Thorns for our exit.... its a mother love bone song but it was beautiful and fit in well....

    best thing that we did for the day though i think was that we put ourselves on a table by ourselves for the reception.... it gave us time to sit back and spend a bit of time together... and it worked out well cos everyone was happy to come to us, and we were free to wander around the tables without people worried about "the bridal party"..... anyways that was the best decision we made i think...

    just remember that you only get to do this once (hopefully).... so remember to take some time out to take it all in and observe a little bit.... you want to remember the small details... it all goes so fast.... and remember... there is nothing tackier than a shit faced bride ;)

    Congrats!!! Lets hope you can convince your fiance to let you have PJ songs at the wedding, Parachutes would be a nice one I think
