I meant post the pic of your contest entry in this thread, dumb arse. I'm too lazy to look elsewhere. ;)

Tweenies? How rude. A lot of us are mature ladies who just happen to think Ed is hot ... what's wrong with that???

mature ladies who think ed is hot - thats not a nice description - it puts an image into my head of bingo with pearl jam posters round the hall.

but never fear - my youngest son has actually told people in public i would probably only marry eddie vedder - so thats a fair bit more tragic

    now - contest entry - http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i144/zenith75/avacadoentry.jpg

remember us poor starving artists thrive on attention!!! and feedback!!!

and ill also chuck in a quick little celebration dance for my long last member title change!!! :D

(bloody hell, i hope it does actually happen)

    :D:D pixi hats!

    lol
So, onto my entry – I had this idea,
    a. Reminiscent of Ed’s helmet wearing days of old, &
    b. Because quite a few reviews I read for ‘Pearl Jam’ described it as the guys going ‘back to their roots’ musically.
So it’s really a trip down the road into past days and tribute to that – and honestly, an avocado seed chopped in half looks just like – well, a helmet … and not much else.

There is one for each – Ed’s got the footy helmet (I have no idea of team colours - & who the hell wears helmets playing football anyway??? But it has #5); Jeff’s got a skater helmet; Mike & Stone have the combat helmets; and Matt – well, how many types of helmets are there in the world??? Not many, I’m sure – so he gets a bit of an al-naturel style with his. Sorry Matt…..

Heh, it's a 1st year graduate NSW health wage. Outside of the essentials, I just don't spend my money and holidays on anything else. Helps that I only pay $50/week for board to stay at the olds' granny flat. Paying the full Sydney market rent would destroy any chance I have for doing this tour.

I was thinking of doing social or welfare work once but decided against it when I heard how bad the pay was. Was just wondering where you worked .. don't worry I won't try and stalk you to get a free ticket for the European tour. ;)

I wonder where the nearest bingo hall is? It probably beats Lotto!

The pay would be the least of your worries! I spent two and a half years removing children from abusive parents, and it ain't soemthing I would ecommend to anyone, not with the current system Qld has in place. I feel sprry for those who still work there, crap pay, and idiot superiros who've neevr worked atthe grass roots level making decisions about protocols and processes they'll never have to use that are unworkable.
