Thought for sure I'd get shut-out, but I did get my first choice of Moiline GA! Missed out on the St. Louis and Milwaukee shows, but that's ok. I got the one I wanted!
I scored Moline GA, and it was my first pick. Moline reserved was #2 (obviously lost), but had StL reserved as #3 and was fortunate to grab those as well. My first GA show. I'll be the tall guy with his tall brother on the rail. \m/
I've been reading the Forum and FBook all day. Sad to see so many long timers like myself get shut out while I was just plain lucky. I remember my first show (Alpine Valley 1998) and having 10C seats. It was nowhere as stressful. I sat in the bowl about 20 rows back without refreshing a computer all day. The old timers should inure some benefit (you'd be amazed how much I used to pay for PJ poor quality bootlegs on tape and CD ), but I'm not sure how you balance that with overall demand from people who are obstesibly fans regardless of 10C seniority.
Anyway, I think as long as Ed takes care of his pipes- which he hasn't lately- this could be a gem of the tour. Small(er) venue, high 10C demand, the awesome people of Eastern Iowa/Chicago/surrounding environs=great show. See you all there.
Some pent-up moxie, I imagine. That St. Paul show is going to tear. Happy the Twin Cities scored a show. The Upper Midwest owns, and these are all going to be memorable shows.
Won my first choice, so celebrating my bday one week early with a room full of PJ fans. May just be the best present I've ever bought for myself. Can't wait....
Won Moline-GA and feeling very grateful to 10c. Tried to get in at the Radisson next to the arena, but they were booked, so we got a room at the next closest hotel, The name of the place is "Stoney Creek Inn" which I've never heard of. But... this is my first PJ show, and I would sleep in my car if I had to ....can't wait!!
Hey everyone! I wasn't lucky in the drawing so I'm one more person in need of a Moline GA ticket. Please let me know if you can help me! Thank you so much!
Hello! I didn't see a have/want page, so I also would love if someone could help me out with a Moline GA! I'm driving from WI (Madison Area). THANKS!!!!! I just need one! Will pay cash, drinks, etc.

Were you guaranteed seats in the past with seniority? Completely serious question...I have no idea how the 10c worked in the 90s except that people filled out a postcard with the shows that they wanted.. I thought seniority always just got you better seats and it never guaranteed tickets.
No, seats have never been guaranteed, but there were fewer members and more shows back then. Now, with the GA pit, seating by seniority doesnt mean much. The new ticket system really focuses on getting more members to join and, IMO, is about quantity (in terms of membership) rather than quality. I get it, tickets are limited, fans are now older so they have money to travel and there are fewer shows per tour, but it really feels like seniority barely matters anymore. To pay your dues for 20 years without lapse for anything should mean something.
I've been pretty fortunate with the lottery (except for Wrigley and London), but I preferred to have control and it hurts to see fans I've been seeing next to me for decades (who are just as energetic and into it as the new members) getting shutout in the lottery.
Yeah, the addition of the GA pit has definitely lessened the value of seniority. I'd definitely be frustrated if I had a low number like many around here, but I would never think I am entitled to tickets over someone who is a newer fan club member like some seem to think that they are. There's no perfect system that's going to make everyone happy. Personally, I think they should get rid of the GA and keep the lottery system....the lottery is so much better than sitting at your computer for hours pressing F5 hoping that you get lucky.

Curious on folks' thoughts on Friday. I'm going for 3 tickets. Better chances for all 3 of us to just log in and purchase a single? I'm sure it will sell out the second it goes up.
I got my one and only pick Moline reserved, got my hotel booked I am so stoked I will be staying at the Hampton Inn any one else staying there.
I have a room booked there. I'm not sure if we will be staying or just driving back after the show. We plan on getting in town before noon and enjoying the day. We'll see.

I've found that ordering an odd number sometimes opens up tickets, or even gets you closer seats than if you were trying for 2 or 4. Personally, I would try for your 3 tickets together first. You may be pleasantly surprised.
I went out last night bumming I would probably not get tix. But at 7:10 pm local time I finally got the email saying I had my first choice of 2 Reserved for Moline. I've been a 10Club member since early 90's so decided to try and take advantage of my seniority with Reserved and got lucky.
I am looking for a room at the Radisson or Stoney Creek though if anyone won't be able to use theirs! PM me if we can swap names on a reservation. Thanks!

My buddy, in Chicago, was lucky enough to win 2 GA tickets to Moline, myself and my friend will be coming from Southern Indiana. But he is driving, so he gets the other GA ticket. If you were someone who got one extra GA ticket to Moline and I could possibly buy the other let me know. If not I will be trying for a single tomorrow.
Lost GA & Reserved Cincy, Moline, Detroit 2014, Lost GA & Reserved Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Wrigley in 2013. 0 for 12 in the lottery, love the Lightning Bolt Tour. (In all honesty, it doesn't really bother me, but think it is funny that people get 1 out of 2 and throw a fit.)

So happy I won my first choice of GA. Lost all other 7 choices. But Moline is the only one I really really wanted. The 10c Powers That Be have smiled upon me once again Was born and raised in Davenport and this hometown show is going to be AMAZING! I WILL be on the rail at this one, rockin Master Mike's side hard.

Lost both! 192,xxx. This is total BS as people with 400,xxx can get tickets before I can. What the F is the point of being in the 10C for as long as I have? Sorry, but this system sucks after the Wrigley loss and now this.
What was your Choice #1?
Moline GA
The whole thing is run incorrectly to where seniority no longer matters. THAT is the problem. Those who have paid our dues for years should have the first option, ALWAYS. That some douche signed up last year lucked into Wrigley and maybe multiple shows this year is the topper. I believe I only got PHX last year as NO ONE wanted to go there; so much so they had a 2nd 10C sale for tickets.
There has to be a better way and it starts with your 10C number before anything else.
I guess I'm one of those douches. :-h
