Pearl Jam Fall 2014 US Tour

Well, if that's the case, I'll be waiting a while. I submitted last night late, after checking the odds on all the shows. Last time I entered on the first day and got my confirmation around 5:00. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. What makes you think so?BN8419 said:Has anyone received WON/LOST confirmation that submitted their entries after the first day? I think they're working these in order of submission and they're still not off of day 1.

I appreciate the clarification, but, actually, the Ten Club people don't explain it clearly at all. They need to explicitly say that the drawings for both GA and Reserved Seats are random, and then by seniority only if you win Reserved Seats. All in one bullet point. With all the bullet points. the information is not clearly presented. It can get even more confusing when they are telling you to rank shows and calling out seniority assignment for Reserved Seating in a separate bullet point. It's too easy to interpret that as seniority based assignments for the drawing itself.63schoefflin said:Winning the lotto has nothing to do with seniority. They say this over and over again. Seniority just comes into play once the seating priority gets brought up. So those who win have a better shot if you have a low number.

Here's an interesting article in the local Lincoln newspaper about how the "Club Seat Holders" were all butthurt about not being included in any presale, etc. Just some anecdotal reading while we all refresh our browsers and email inboxes... we could be these douches who are whining to their lawyers about how Pearl Jam takes care of their fans FIRST.

Sorry to hear that....with both of you entering and picking that many shows it is shit luck to not get any. Being the good people that you are I would hope there are some board members that will share extra tickets!Leezestarr313 said:Won zilch. Hubs didn't get anything either.

Somebody suggested it and everyone who submitted late (me included) have not heard. And I haven't seen anyone who has heard yet who didn't submit right away. They have to be working down off of some kind of list, running credit cards, etc... - ordered by entry time/date makes sense.0

Just got email confirmation for Moline!0

I'll offer a few justifications (I'm a 12 yr member & 30 yrs old):what dreams said:
This long time fan thinks the lottery is an interesting "way to handle the ticket situation." Though I don't understand why because they've never explained officially, I feel certain the fan club is doing it this way for some justifiable reason. I also feel if the big picture were so awful, the band would not have signed onto it. I trust the band and enjoy the process.Jstep said:
When did they start this lottery thing? It's been awhile since i've gotten tickets. This seems like the worst possible way to handle the ticket situation and all it does is piss off long time fans.63schoefflin said:Winning the lotto has nothing to do with seniority. Still waiting while I get some chores done and listen to PJ in the background. Not really a bad way to spend a rainy afternoon, if you really think about it.
1. Anyone who wasn't a member before around 2000, maybe earlier, would never have a chance to sniff probably the first 30 rows. I think Grand Rapids, a low demand show, put me around 30th.
2. It used to be that you could get tickets to every show you asked for. Now, if you were to go by seniority, literally every new member will almost never have a chance at presale tickets due to demand. Why would anyone new sign up if this was the case?
3. Also shorter tours as the band gets older = people traveling farther = higher demand = more impossible for new fans. Remember 70 show 8 month tours, 5 shows/week? Those days are over.
4. If you have 15+ years seniority, you have enjoyed those benefits for a long time. If you're closer to 20, you've been in the front row countless times. Sharing with others is not something to get pissed off about.0 -
Any word if the Lincoln, NE ticket winners have been announced?0

they seem to be coming out staggered… if you're tickets area doesn't say either 'won' or 'lost', you are still alive.bbarna44 said:Any word if the Lincoln, NE ticket winners have been announced?

Ummm... I don't know about countless. Actually, I'd say its zero. I've been in the fan club exactly 20 years, never front row. Closest I've ever been was 5th row. NOt bad, but I probably averaged sitting 10-15 rows back from '98 - '06. Now, its hard to get any at all.
Not complaining, but don't overgeneralize the benefits of those of us who have been around a long time. And I don't particularly enjoy sharing with concert-day ticket scalpers, which is what most of the new members actually are.

It's really pissing this long time fan off. Shut out of my home town show with 20+ years in the fan club. I am fine with the process a few years ago that allowed the 1st and 10th row to be completely random to the fan club with the rest by seniority. That gave everyone a (small) chance for great seats. This completely random process PUNISHES people who have been in the Ten Club for so long. Sorry, but, yes, I do believe I should have significant priority for tickets over someone who only recently joined the club or even someone who has been in it for ten years. And, I also think the people who have more seniority than me should have priority over me as well.what dreams said:

I'm waiting on that one, too. A buddy got GA Pit tickets in an email about 45 minutes ago. I think he put in for them the day they were announced. I entered much later. Still nothing, yet. Keeping hope alive!bbarna44 said:Any word if the Lincoln, NE ticket winners have been announced?

Hi :-h Good to see you. I decided to go for it, what do I have to lose? And if I get tickets, I get to meet people from here along with seeing Pearl Jam and exploring a new city. If not, at least I tried.shetellsherself said:
