Don't get me wrong, I thought it was good, just not the best album of the year. I have had some trouble getting into JW's stuff though since the WS broke-up. The Dead Weather and his solo efforts just don't quench my thirst after being spoiled by the WS and Raconteurs. Raconteurs are IMO his best active project.63schoefflin said:
Dang... I thought Blunderbuss was hands down the best album of 2012 and the best since then. But yeah, more Racs would be the tits.
I did really like his cover of U2's "Love is Blindness" though. Unbelievable!

The customer service seems pretty awesome so far, which is cool.
I should go check out the website more. I haven't had much time to explore TMR; I'm sure I've missed a lot.

They definitely do it up right. I was beyond hooked from the beginning, but have recently been picking a choosing the packages I buy. For the most part they are all great. It would be cool if they included more small prints like the dead weather one early on. The DVD's and books that they occasionally include don't really do it for me.PJ_Soul said:

You are right about the customer service. I ordered the Blunderbuss inverted lightening bolt vinyl and it arrived completely destroyed. I sent them photos and they replaced it, I just had to send the damaged copy back to them.
Also, third man has boxes to put your lp's and 7" records in, which is sweet!PJ:

In addition to PJ fans, another group of rabid fans = Jack White fans. RSD vault-only performance just sold out in nanoseconds. I tried to get a pair less than ten seconds into the sale, literally, and they were already sold out.0

Was really impressed by the way they are selling this limited version of the new LP. Everyone gets a chance to order, albeit a a rather expensive one but a good investment I would imagine. Don't know what will go down with the single on RSD. If you aren't in Nashville you won't get one unless you go to eBay. Hopefully enough people will purchase that the prices on eBay won't be to crazy.0

One of the perks of being in Nashville0

Just took the plunge on Vault 20. The only ones I don't have are the willie nelson and the recent white stripes (vault 19). One day I might need to complete the collection!PJ:

I would not read too much into this, it is just the first round of dates. There are a lot of cities around the US not on this list yet.eeriepadave said:

Dave, apparently when he played Northstar back in the early days of the White Stripes, the Philly crowd heckled the shit out of him for something and he got pissed off and literally never came back. That's what sometime told me after the Jim James concert last year but I forget the reason. He was in the crowd and it was something stupid with Jack and Meg.
JW is the absolute man and I love 99% of what he does, but there's definitely something a little off with him between the grudges he holds, the pissiness at concerts like NYC last year and other things. But then again, all the great ones are a little effed up in their own way.'08- Camden 1-2 '09- Chicago 2; Spectrum 1-4
