    Alert just went off on my phone. Last day to order current vault! Still haven't pulled the trigger. So conflicted with this package because I prefer LP's, but its the white stripes! What to do???

    I had an alert that my automatic renewal went through. I sent an email to cancel, but it won't be the worst thing if it doesn't get cancelled. I couldn't decide either, so I'll just leave it up to fate.

    Question for you TMR junkies: Has there ever been an official vinyl release of the Coney Island shows from 2005? If not, do you think TMR will do so?

    I don't believe so, at least not as an official vault release. In the future? Who knows. They definitely have more live material from the white stripes than any other side project. You would think a lot of the classic shows would get released eventually, but I am hoping for some WS vault album releases soon. Quite a few live shows have been released since the subscription started.

    Yeah, I am an impulsive person and usually buy this sort of thing. However, I am still trying to complete other aspects of my LP collection, including the hard to find PJ albums and DMB Before These Crowded Streets. Might be better to put the $60 towards that instead.

    I was at night 1. The only time I got to see them. I had tix for the 2007 MSG show but I had to sell them, which sucked.

    Looks like I'll be enjoying this vault. They said they don't offer refunds and its part of the renewal agreement. I've spent $60 on worse.

    Yeah, just got that. Kinda crappy, but not that big of a deal I suppose. Should be able to make some money on it.

    So you basically have until your renewal time, and not the end of the month to decide? Thats pretty lame.

    Yeah, the system is flawed. I ordered the Raconteurs Vault then immediately cancelled my automatic renewal subscription. By doing that I lost my privileges with the "special members area." Personally I think you should retain those rights for the entire 3 month vault period when you pay the $60.

    I was also at night 1, and I made the MSG show in 2007. And while it was impressive that two people could make enough of a racket to get The Garden bumping, Coney Island night 1 was far far superior. It was one of the best damn shows I've ever seen, and it was definitely the best White Stripes show I attended. "Red Rain" was a particular standout for me that night, the way the sound bounced off/was amplified by the water was amazing!

    For those here that purchased #18 are you satisfied with your vinyl? In the picture from Thirdman 1 record is supposed to be rawhide and tobacco, although mine looks black. Although if I hold it up to the light I can see that it's a colored vinyl, but just looking at it it appears black.

    Am I expecting too much, does it look like false advertising, or did I maybe get 1 record from a bad batch?

    No it's not as pictured, definitely not ack though. But overall, the sound and the DVD make it a freakin' awesome package in my book.
