So this morning jay cooked me pancakes, and riley lounged about in his pj’s eating them ;)

And up came dad and said, well I spose we’d better give you your present – brings in this frame, not wrapped, just kind of backwards so I couldn’t see. The kids went over and turned it around, and – holy fuck!!! I just sat there and thought wtf!!! – and I asked how did you get that – he said your not the only one who has a computer ... again I think wtf – so I ask how did you know then, and he says well its on your computer (desktop pica) and I apparently mentioned to him when I ordered the clinch one how the Kenyon hall was probably the print to have, but id have no hope and only one of us here had managed to get on in the fanclub sale.

So turns out he got someone he knew to scour ebay and grab one (he wouldn’t even know how to turn a pc on) and when it arrived he got a frame and had his neighbour put it in. I don’t know how much he paid (wouldn’t say) and the frame insert is a tiny bit small (cuts off the half the klausen marks and is almost right on the edge of the venue / dates) – but he says its just sitting on top of the print, and the print isn’t ‘mounted?’ so the neighbour man says it’ll be fine to take out in years to come or whatever – anyway, I wasn’t going to complain about that, thats just me picking things to pieces

So it was a pressie from the boys, and him – and I’d better think damned hard about dumping them with him next time I decide to follow this scruffy looking fellow all over the country – and what sort of an example was that anyway ... standing there with a smoke hanging out of his mouth!!!!

I still kind of wonder if im dreaming ...

Now – anyone who makes a crack about the pink dressing gown and pj’s and bed hair will get a kick up the arse!!

    Happy birthday Lindy!!!!

The poster looks cool :) Starting to have doubts over the colour scheme I chose for mine when I took it to the framers the other day. Especially after seeing yours. Saying that though, I chose a black timber frame so it might be ok :)

Now that I see PJ had a brass section playing with them, I'm utterly disappointed that they didn't play one of my faves from Quadrophenia, "5:15" :(

    cheers :)

this frame looks pretty light, but thats cos of the flash i think - its really a sort of dark gun metal grey finish - looks great with the black surround and then the grey shades in the print.

i told him prints like this get professionally framed for over $100 or so - he gave me a 'dont push things' sort of sideways look - i'd say this was a pre bought frame, but it looks cool, and hell im hardly going to complain!!!

it'll be interesting to see what the value of these does if/when obama gets voted in....

Is it an aluminium frame? If it is be very careful with it. The framer was telling me that unlike timber, aluminium has a tendency to 'move' a bit and has a reputation of making the glass crack if handled too often

    Heya :-)
Yeah pretty rough night....but the one coming to us from Mandurah, is gonna be a BEAUTY!!!

Glenn's s'posed to be taking the kids to the movies, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. My mate across the road had asked Maddi and I to come to the Fun Factory, but she's canned that, too :-( Her MIL in Golden Bay rang and said it looked like it was snowing where she is, cuz everything's covered in a blanket of hail. We can hear the thunder in the distance atm and our poor dog's going off :( So, I probably won't be online for much longer
OOPS! Here's the hail!!!!!!! FARK!! Kids are going crazy now!! It's deafening on our tin roof!!
Only 9 degrees here atm....I'm so cold :(

I've never seen hail before. Scary?
