I just heard from Cateeto (my mate Kate in USA)....I sent her my spare Into The Wild poster early last week, she was sooooo keen for it and so excited, she just told me then, that she received an empty tube, with no poster in it :(

I cant believe someone would open it and steal that poster...its not worth THAT much, but I counted it as a special gift for a fellow PJ fan.....

Im so down, my generous gift....meaningless :(

Turns out it wasn't raining... just looked like it.

The Pope arrived in Sydney today. I hope it rains the whole time he's here for that silly World Youth Day thing. :p

If US post opened your tube cause they were searching for something suss, why would they confiscate the poster?

I remember the 10 club magazine used to always turn up at my place with the seals broken. What did they expect to find in a magazine? Speaking of the mag what happened to DEEP magazine, I haven't had one for about a year now.

Listen I don't want to get into an argument about this but my opinion is:

    1. It's just all Catholic propaganda. World Youth Day is fine but keep it in Rome where the Pope lives.

    2. Its costing NSW taxpayers heaps of money, meanwhile the public hospitals and roads are all going to shite.

    3. Sydney is going into lockdown with roads and hospital wards closed because of the Pope just like when Bush was here.

    etc etc

as far as costing tax payers heaps of money...."WYD08 will be the largest event Australia has ever hosted. It will attract over 125,000 international visitors - more than the 2000 Olympics. " I would hope it could be a great source of revenue as well??

I understand it's your opinion....but I also think it's a bit nasty to want to spoil it for a huge number of people, who are travelling from all parts of the world for something they believe in and are looking forward to :(
