    Whats in the water in Qld and Perth at the moment?

    I had a weird situation on Sat night with a VERY close friend of mine. Went to meet her and assumed other friends. Turned up and she was dressed in a gorgeous frock and no one turned up to join us. After 2 drinks she said "why dont you just stay at my house and Ill drive you to your appointment in the morning. Both my flatmates wont be home".

    We then ended up sitting on the beach with a bottle of wine and pizza :eek: We are both very close but that night just felt weird - still dont know if she was actually hitting on me. I think she was.

    I was a good boy and resisted but didnt get home till 12. Had to do some testing for diabetes research in the morn - pounding a treadmill with fuckin pipes stuck down your throat 8 hours after your last beer was the worst sunday morning Ive ever had. Imagine if I hadda thrown a leg over :eek:

    Friends have hassled me for years over this one - she puts it on like that again I think I have no choice :D
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    Ummm? I wouldn't say they make a tinkling.....it's kind of a ....I dunno?.....I spose it's a tinkling.....but a deep (for lack of a better word :o ) tinkle.....not a pretty fairy tinkle.

    I love the fact she's in a beautiful black frock and you ended up eating pizza at the beach! LOL!! :D

    Depends how close you are to her.....if you're like "best friends" close -- don't go there -- it would never be the same again. I couldn't "do" a good friend....all my friends are male and it makes me feel a little ill thinking of "doing" any of them. Ewww! YOU on the otherhand... ha ha Sorry, couldn't resist! :D

    That's how Glenn and I ended up together! We'd been best mates for about 4 years.....and I used to cop it from all my girlfriends - saying how we get along so well and how him and I have so much fun when we're together etc etc.
    But I was all - Ewwwwww! That's gross - NEVER!

    However.....it's amazing what can happen after drinking 2 1/2 bottles of port :p
    that was over 18 years ago and here we are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary TOMORROW :eek:

    Yeah thats why I resisted. Not best friends close but def one of the closest females in my life - lived with her for 3 years.

    Mates have always said "I cant believe you and her have never..." Good sort too. That night was just different. Ive never been one to latch on to pick up signs but now I think back it was a lot more friendly than usual.

    I think it's harder to have "casual" sex with close friends....feelings and shit always seem to get in the way.

    You don't wanna pounce on her at the first sign she's shown a 'different' interest in you. I BET you were feeling a bit weirded out by it all.

    I think the fact that Glenn and I HAD been such great mates for so long, was a HUGE positive for us.
