I don't want to see sucky Mudhoney in Dallas and OKC. I guess I'll be drinking extra beers until I head into the show around 8:35ish then. Anyone down?

It's not Mudhoney but Midlake in Dallas and OKC. It's a pity I can't make it to the USA cause I would love to see them open for PJ.
Have you seen them live before?

Yes, about 2 years ago. Gonna see them again in March. Curious how they will sound now their lead singer has left the band.

Mudhoney won't be bad. Saw em twice in 3 days in 2011. wasn't exactly thrilled when they were announced as opening act in NW and Canada but... they are tight with PJ and will likely be efficient in getting off the stage in time for a 30+ song sets. Guessing will see Mark Arm up on stage in closing set in Seattle too.

one thing... love my framed up wrigley posters and the leg one posters... kind of disappointed i'll have two more posters with MUDHONEY worked into the art.  :fp:

I think mudhoney sucks, but that's besides the point.

Why do a tour with some shows having an opening band, and others not?

If the shows are shorter, that will be a slap in the face to the fans. Deciding which cities will get longer shows is unfair.

I doubt the shows are shorter. I really hope not.

Imagine the outrage if the first proper Texas show in 10 years is shorter due to an opening band.

Or the last show of the tour, Seattle, being shorter than the first shows.

    That won't be pretty
