Then please ensure that I pass the can ya?

How are you mate? I didnt end up booking that Executive Inn accom for Newcastle. Thought if Im only gonna be in the room for a few hrs it doesnt make much sense paying $200. Booked some little dodgy joint for $90 - Tutor Inn?? from memory.

    Hi All

Ziggy, you've probably got this covered, but something fairly popular in these independent stores are the music mags, but more importantly, the IMPORT editions. They seem to be a little niche market within the broader market if you know what I mean.

Also, the poster banners are pretty cool too. I have never ever seen a PJ one, dont think they make them.

PEARL JAM NOVEMBER!!! (except Tig - too harsh?? Im sorry :()

Good ideas...we've talked about going into mags down the track but hadn't considered import editions!

    Tudor Inn!!

Did somebody say Bates Motel? ;)

I suppose it's not that bad cos you're just using it as a storeroom.
You're gonna be having too much fun with me and the rest of the guys to sleep in your little hovel :)

Zig - if convenient can you foward on your fungus filling recipe. No one on here has died yet and I love mushies so better give it a shot. Pretty please?

Only because you said "pretty please"! ;)

    *******************************************************
    ZIG'S STUFFED MUSHROOMS:

Mushrooms (12+) - get ones at least the size of a 50c piece because it's easier to stuff (a bit bigger is a better)
    Onion (finely cut)
Small tub of Philedelphia Cream Cheese (I use the 5% fat one)
    Bacon (diced)
    Cheese
    Salt and Pepper
    Garlic

    * Remove stalks of mushrooms and scoop out a little bit of the inside flesh with a teaspoon -- set aside mushrooms on a lightly greased oven tray
    * Finely chop the mushroom stalks and flesh
    * Cook the onion, bacon, mushroom stalks/scooped out flesh, salt and pepper in a small fry pan on the stove until all cooked.
    * Put Philly Cream Cheese in a glass bowl. Add onion/bacon/mushroom mixture and mix well.
    * Scoop mixture into each hollowed out mushroom.
    * Sprinkle with cheese.

Put in the oven until cheese melted.

Yummy!!!!!!!! And really quick and easy!!!!

It's really versatile. I have used the big field mushrooms before (about 3 inches wide) and stuffed them with a mixture of philly cheese, grated zucchini, grated carrot and some herbs (had a vego over) and they were great. I would have preferred to use a bit of bacon in there though. Next time my sister is over (she doesn't eat red meat), I'm going to try some with finely diced chicken in them (or maybe chicken mince?) and some capsicum and garlic and herbs and whatever else I have.

That filling would be good in roasted capsicums too! ENJOY! :D

It's pretty close to the Ent Cent (5 min walk), very close to pubs and is close to public transport.
It's a little shitty, but as I said you won't be sleeping much so it doesn't matter. Plus it's cheap

Thanks Zig. Yep very simple and you could have so many variations. Good stuff. Gonna give em a go tonite (with maybe a dask of chilli). Capsicum ones will need an attempt as well.

Will report back on the results 2morrow.

You will be the fourth person to make them off the PJ website! The first 3 seemed to like them! Hope you do too! :)

yeah, i got the 1st one from target a little while ago for $20, and spent like 3 days playing it non stop.

But i think the 2nd one is much better.

i was gonna wait for the price to come down a bit but i got some gift vouchers for my b'day so i just got it. but it was only $50 from toys R us, which was $20 cheaper then everyone else had it.

I'm not sure about all of them, but i've seen heaps that say on them "Xbox 360 compatable"

I think it's mostly the newer ones that have came out the the last few months, but i could be wrong

off to see Placebo tonight..... hope they are half decent, otherwise I'll just have to get roaring drunk instead!!! Will post a review when I get home for anyone interested....

because the 360 runs on a diferenct graphics system to the xbox they have to run an emulator for the xbox games. thus only some games (mainly the top selling ones and the new ones are compatible for the emulator.

they could have done an emulator to run them all but xbox live wouldnt work and stuff like that

i sold my 360 today..... im sad but i didnt play it that much. I needed th emoney for november. but i am sure it will be worth it.
