Thank God the Australian ones came good.....:)0 -
Can anyone from Melbourne/Adelaide offer me some advice?
In Melbourne we are staying in St Kilda. I was going to get the Weekly travel pass but I was wondering which Zones I'll need. Looks like St Kilda to the City is Zone 1. Is it true that most of the places I'll want to go will probably be covered in Zone 1? So get the Zone 1 pass ($26.70) and then just pay for extra zones if/when I need them? Or are there some nice things to visit outside of Zone 1 (apart from "Ramsey St", in Vermont South)?
For Adelaide I am still trying to decide where to stay. We're going for a Double Ensuite at a backpackers (they're only about $65 per night). Does anyone know a good backpackers (or other cheap accomodation)? We'll only be sleeping there so we don't need much. I've seen one called the Adelaide Travellers Inn and there's one someone told me about out at the beach in Glenelg (spelling?). Is Glenelg as far from the City as it seems, and does it really matter? I'm used to Auckland where the public transport is awful! So basically, does anyone know any good cheap accomodation near the City? Also, is it easy to find a good Barossa Wine Tour? I'm sure it must be...0 -

Ziggy, they were freakin amazing!! and Andy ate half the left over filling today as dip! Thankyou so much for the recipe. It will become a staple in our Mushroom life:D
Your welcome! Aren't they great! I just made it up from a mixture of recipes on the internet. And it's so versatile....just throw in whatever tickles your fancy and it will taste good! I love eating the leftover filling in jacket potatoes the next day with melted cheese on top! Mmmmmm.★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

cool, if a band can't learn thin air they shouldn't be a band, it's really complex with it's 3 differant chordscondescending and sarcastic since 19800 -
Hi All
Ziggy, you've probably got this covered, but something fairly popular in these independent stores are the music mags, but more importantly, the IMPORT editions. They seem to be a little niche market within the broader market if you know what I mean.
Also, the poster banners are pretty cool too. I have never ever seen a PJ one, dont think they make them.
PEARL JAM NOVEMBER!!! (except Tig - too harsh?? Im sorry :()Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0 -
Sorry for the summary post here:
Just got the date for my exam - its 31 October so no strees re concert dates - you bloody ripper.
Ozpjman and Lukin4 - no excuses for Manly. They lost coz they are fuckin useless. I have no sympathy for them at all but feel a little sorry for BK (even he was quiet). Manly 2007!
Aus_suz - did your name use to be Tassiepetals?
Zig - if convenient can you foward on your fungus filling recipe. No one on here has died yet and I love mushies so better give it a shot. Pretty please?
Tommyphillips - I felt the same as you after my last breakup of over five years. I musta bored the crap outta my mates for a couple of months but TRUST ME, you'll be fine soon mate. Keep yourself busy and its only natural to think of her during quiet times - this will fade. I look back now and kick myself for not getting out of it earlier.I'll ride the wave where it takes me.0
