Show #1
Set List

01. Pendulum-(from the new album “Lighting Bolt”)
02. Long Road
03. Low Light
04. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
05. Why Go
06. Lightning Bolt-(from the new album “Lighting Bolt”)
07. Mind Your Manners-(from the new album “Lighting Bolt”)
08. Brain Of J
09. Animal
(for about the 20th time in the same situation we get to say, ‘Hello Philadelphia’. Pretty nice place ya got here. You were probably with us when we tore down the Spectrum down. We mays as well tear this place down as well. Slowly, piece by piece. This next song is by Jeff Ament. I would like to dedicate it to Brendan O’Brien who is here tonight.”)
10. Pilate
11. Even Flow
12. Infallible-(from the new album “Lighting Bolt”)
13. I Got Shit
14. Wishlist
(Ed relates an anecdote about putting a white powder on his finger nails to strengthen them tonight which made him think of living in an apartment when he was 15 or so and had a low rent drug dealer for room mate who would sell “Black Beauty” speed which Ed would crack open and ingest the powder inside. He then asks if there are any kids in the audience. He comments on how stupid he was to think he needed the speed to keep going and how he named his guitar “Black Beauty”. He says he doesn’t understand the whole rock star and drugs. Why would you need anything more when you are on stage playing with your best friends for an audience that feel like friends even you don’t actually know them. What else could you want? (this what else could you want relates to the outro improv lyrics of “wishlist”)
15. Sirens-(from the new album “Lighting Bolt”)
16. Lukin
17. Not For You/Modern Girl-(Sleater Kinney)
18. Let The Records Play-(from the new album “Lighting Bolt”)
(“Here’s another one about the same goddamn thing”)
19. Spin The Black Circle
20. Rearviewmirror
Encore Break 1
(Ed talks to audience behind stage. Notes that is many more times than the number of people who saw them in a club the first time they played in Philadelphia. Ed spots people in the upper level behind the stage with a “Gabba Gabba Hey” sign and says he would like them to be brought down to sit on the side of the stage. They deserve better seats. “That would solve one of the problems we have. Last time we were here we had 99 problems, now we are down to 98. Next time we can get to 96 tears.” He then talks about his friend Brian, who had been unjustly imprisoned and was recently freed. Brian lost a friend of his that was in the military. Ed talks about how he is glad the troops are starting to come home and that we need to properly take care of them.)
21. Man Of The Hour
22. Off He Goes
23. Yellow Moon-(from the new album “Lighting Bolt”)
24. Mother-(Waters)
25. Given To Fly
26. Unthought Known
27. 1/2 Full
28. Leash
(Ed introduces Andy and Jordan, the folks holding the Ramones sign. It is Jordan’s first concert and Ed assures him they are all like this. Ed dedicates the next song to them.)
29. I Believe In Miracles-(Ramone, Rey)
30. Porch

Encore Break 2
(Ed thanks the audience, introduces the band. Boom’s brother Keith is in town celebrating his birthday so Ed has him come onstage. A young man in the front says it his birthday as well so Ed wishes them both happy birthday)

31. Crazy Mary-(Williams)
32. Alive
33. Sonic Reducer-(Bators, Blitz, Chrome, Magnum, Thomas, Zero
34. Indifference

I just got home. was side stage on Stone's side. Unbelievable night. Tons of energy, liked hearing stuff I wouldn't normally get to hear. Mike killed it tonight.

Guy from NY who was at both shows in Brooklyn said this one topped them both.

Cannot wait to see what tomorrow's show brings.

Great show. Crowd and Eddie were amped right from the start, and it all blended together from there.

Just got back to my apt in Center City from the show.

    AMAZING!

Section 116 Stone side right next to the stage. The energy was approaching the 2009 Spectrum shows level throughout, despite being in a less intimate arena. Hearing mother was an insane surprise and Eddie sang it beautifully. 34 songs, almost 3 hours, and the band was in top form all night. Can't wait to see how they try to top it tomorrow!

Never thought I would hear Spectrum-esque noise on a Monday after an intense Brooklyn showing. I can't believe it.

Only time I've heard it louder was for Allen Iverson

this was the first PJ philly show I missed since 1998 due to taking a job out west, and am truly sad for it - glad to see the crowd kept the band on their best behavior though, from the looks of it  :D

I was in section 103 with my sister through 10 Club seats...honestly the seats were much better than I thought they'd be since my number is so bad.

I think out of all the shows I've been to, this crowd was the best. :D

Fantastic show, wasn't thrilled with floor seats but actually had a pretty good view. My feet are killing from standing on my toes a lot but well worth it. New stuff was excellent and well received by the crowd, in true Philly fashion.

Surprise highlight for me, 1/2 full, love that. Already losing my voice, so by tomorrow I'm screwed.

    Love this fucking band!!!

    Brooklyn 2 > Philly 1 > Brooklyn 1

I had AMAZING Seats. sec 124 row 6  I was soooo close to Mike. 8-)

    Song highlights/tidbits:

Low Light - Love this song.
Brain Of J - FIRST TIME I HEARD THIS!
    Animal - Always a favorite
Pilate - :o Loved every second
Even Flow - face melted mccready solo
I Got Shit 8-) Another favorite
Lukin - Called this like 3 seconds before Eddie introduced 'another slow song'
Let The Records Play/Spin The Black Circle - LOVE this combo, thought they were gonna play them back to back in Brooklyn, but here works just as well.
    Rearviewmirror - 8-)
Off He Goes - one of my favorites.
    Given To Fly - ENERGY
1/2 Full - McCready pointed at me!
Leash -  <--- Me and the guy next to me
Alive - Played so often now that instead of watching the band, i watch the crowd. It's really amazing how this song can united 18,000 people and bring everyone such joy to hear. Turn around next time they play it live with the house lights on.
    Sonic Reducer - fuck. yes.
Indifference - I danced a slow dance like I have never danced before
