Personally, I believe it was an "accident" (wink, wink) and will be rectified for future shows. It may have been an accidental wake up call to get the people upfront up and going again.

Because if this will be the new policy, ten club stands to lose a lot of money and piss off a lot of people if seniority means nothing anymore.

Also, I saw Big Papi hit an upperdeck shot tonight and the Red Sox beat the Sillies again. Any comments My2Hands? ;)

I hope it doesn't happen in Camden.
It may be the only show my wife goes to and that would just suck.
    I've always appreciated my seats...always.

    Tonights set was simply amazing.

I'm so glad that I have a high speed internet connection and can download this show within 24 to 48 hours for pure listening enjoyment. :)

I've been thinking about what happened with the tickets.
I think that it is a good move on the 10c part the shuffle things around when it appears that the same people are in the front rows night after night. That must get dull for the band. I don't, however feel that it is fair to do that every night. I have 3 shows left bought under my 10c account. If my seats got shifted to the back for all three of those shows I would be pissed. If it went 2:1 or 1:2 I would be fine. out of the 24 shows I've seen the band play, 5 of the shows were seen from row 6 or closer (3@R6, 2 @R3). I have been in the fan club for 12 years. I've always appreciated my seats...maybe not the shows...but always my seats. I don't consider myself a spoiled senior fan. This thing last night has me worried.

Let me ask this question: If I invested $100 in a CD 10 years ago and contributed $10 to my account faithfully each year, and you invested $100 in the same CD but not until this year and hadn't contributed anything else to it, would you be upset if my account was worth more than your's today? Would you be bitter? If the bank told me that my account was worth less than your's today should I be bitter or upset?

Am I out of line with my analogy here? Someone help me out because I try not to act childish but maybe I am. I can't decipher my feeling right now. All I know is that I'm worried because these shows are a big deal for me and part of that big deal has typically been my seats. 12 years is a long time to grow with the band and belong to the 10c. I don't feel entitled to great seats, but when they tell me the seating will be decided according to tenure in the club, how could you fault me for expecting to be seated closer than someone with a higher number than my own?

If I got into KISS tomorrow and FANCH has been a member of their fan club for 12 years, I would never expect their club to give me better seats than him at a show if their club provided a ticket service.

    Good Morning everyone!

There is only one week left to go and today I'm beginning to come apart at the seams.

Did that sound like whining to you?
I just re-read it and it doesn't to me.
I will NOT be entertained by a whining comment today.
Today my sense of humor is not on well thank you.
My shows are over June 3.

Last night's set may be one of the greatest set lists I have ever seen.

ok, I will chime in afterall. I've heard Ed, at a few shows I've been to, and I believe most recently Albany, comment about how it's "Some of the same people up front... Ya see the same fucking people everywhere we go. Shouldn't you be off getting yourselves laid somehwere?" Ok, well it's your fanclub, and you know why it's the same faces, so if you think it's getting a little monotonous then do something. At the same time, while my number sucks, I will say that I feel it was a cool thing for those that weren't expecting it, but it was a bad move and will only alienate fans. While the senior fans are a minority, so that feeling will be minimal and there are more fans to stand to gain from the ticket shake up, it's still a poor move logistically. If you were to do this, it should have been done prior to the tour starting and with some notification just to divulge the policy change or what have you. If you are worried about fan morale and how people are supposedly reacting or not at the recent shows, then making people some sort of unofficial lottery winners by bumping their seats up is only a short term fix.

Ok, off for coffee and a pork roll melt. Hell yeah.

i haven't been on in days but i can't imagine reading through all these pages to catch up. someone give me highlights.

i'm in the midwest now. it is weird and very flat.

ed. note- just read thru the posts i said i wouldn't read. just to clear a few things up...
    1) just because i live near jerry seinfeld does not mean that i can go to both the gorge and hawaii. i continue to debate my options.
    2) i too want to hear big wave in *SERIOUS* way.
    3) 10c needs to put new members in the front and leave the old farts to the back. it would change the energy for the better. i'm just saying.
