Yeah I played football from 1st grade through high school, and basketball from 6th grade through high school and 2 years at PSU. I miss playing football, and I still play in a Sunday league during the football season, cant wait to start again this year!
I was the same way with soccer... really miss playing but still play a few times a year at different tournaments that my buddies run. And I'll probably get back into playing hockey again this winter, since my friends take the summer off.

Tomorrow I'm going to a local orchard in Southern PA with the family to pick cherries...awesome...
We're going to get there at 7am and tailgate for a couple of hours first. I'm hoping to get down at least a six pack before I start climbing ladders and hoisting my kids up into the trees to collect ripe fruit.
We'll bring home a huge box of cherries that will cost $60 and place them in out in our garage to rot.
We should have fruit flies in our house all summer long!
