Driving from CT, can't leave until noon and looks like 6.5 drive and need to check into hotel first on the way so I should just make it.
Question, I purchased my parking pass with the tickets, is it clear where I should park once I get into the area? Doesnt say much and seems that there a a few parking areas?

I think you can choose the parking area.

There is a new parking garage next to First Niagara arena. I'm not 100% sure but I would assume it is for parking in that ramp. I don't know that any others are associated w/ the arena in any other way. I know folks tailgate there a bit for sabers games (not like bills games however).
Anyone have some good dinner recommendations? I am a bit of a foodie, not worried about price range

The Lodge on Chippewa just opened... Great food and atmosphere.
Gabriel's Gate on Allen st is good if you want bar food.
Both are 5 min from the arena
