Force of Nature is indeed a good song and I think there are many methaphores in the song that are used also on LB. (Weather, storms etc.) Now there are Always references to nature in PJ albums/songs, but what sets FoN apart, in my opinion, is the moodiness and the methaphores of storms...

wow. This thread's back from suspended animation?

"Force of Nature" has only been played live 11 times. That is borderline criminal. I really hope they dust it off for this upcoming tour.

Monkeywrench/Republic records is making the classic Pearl Jam album "Backspacer" available to all retailers for the very first time! Originally released on September 20th 2009, the album contains 11 tracks including the hit single "The Fixer"

If I hear Force of Nature on this tour, I will be one happy camper!! :D:D It is the one song I hope to hear, if I could only chose one song! I actually think it's one of the best PJ songs ever!!

"Force of Nature" is by far my favorite track from Backspacer... That said, I've not been a big fan of it live from what I've heard on bootlegs. I don't know what it is that turns me off... Maybe the speed?
