World War Z- better than expected.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

Can't wait to see this! I think it just came out on DVD/Blue Ray, right? Is it also on vid on demand now?

  • Metallica: Through the Never at Toronto International Film Festival on September 9. Metallica, actor Dane Dehaan (Chronicles, Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spiderman 2 out next year) and director Nimrod Antal were in attendance.

Next movie I might go see at the theatres is an advanced screening of Gravity on October 2, which I entered in an online contest.

I'll try again this weekend.. But I saw that Walking Dead season 3 comes to netflix streaming next sunday, so i'll get my zombies one way or another. :P

Pretty good. I don't usually like Jack Black, but I did in this movie.

    We're The Millers

Funny, if you want a few good laughs it's still palying out there. Few plot holes but the humor makes up for that. Only other problem I kinda had was that Jason Sudeikis' character was pretty much an Ed Helms character who was already in the movie. I still enjoyed it though.

    71: Into the Fire
    Directed by John Lee

2010 South Korean war drama film. It's based on a true story. In the Battle of P'ohang-dong; 71 student soldiers - majority with absolutely no combat experience whatsoever - were tasked to defend a school to delay the North Korean army's advances.

The whole thing (with English subtitles) is on YouTube in only semi-decent quality, and I'm being generous. Try Netflix, unless you're in Canada because I already know it's not there
Or, you know, procure it from ... other means. *cough cough*

Awesome film. Expect to be fully engrossed.

I really liked that one too. I need to watch it again soon.

Last night my wife wanted to watch a scary movie. she NEVER wants to watch scary movies so I was excited! But we tried the Awakening. Not a bad flick, but it was slow and not scary at all. But it was scary enough for my wife to make me go to the kitchen with her to get her phone after we got in bed.:mrgreen:
