    That could be. A couple people got more than one George and traded the extras. That seemed to have been all of them. Besides the ones in the sealed packs on eBay. I'm not sure what I'd trade or how much since I haven't gotten one offer for a George.

    this probably explains why they are not appearing on ebay too......so a conscious decision made to make a card rare would suggest its unlikely to see these reproduced you'd think?

    Being a baseball card guy growing up and being that I opened close to 30 packs and did not get a single one, I would jump on that Webb for $100 (if It ends that low). I was ready to trade a Shuss poster for one no problem, and happily. Luckily, I traded for one early on. I very much like the fact there is a short printed card, just like any other baseball series/set. If it goes for under $100, I'm buying it to hold on to.

    Wow. Thanks for the info. Still don't think I'd buy it. If I don't get one here than ill either frame it as is or trade it. I'd rather buy one of the lps I need for what this will sell for. I'd rather have the vinyl, not that I can spend that much on vinyl either.

    Rare or not, it is :lol::lol::lol: this card is so expensive. This would be like Topps producing a rare card for the Yankees clubhouse guy and folks going nuts over it just so they can say I got the whole set. I will ask those folks one question -

    Who gives a shit?


    Good luck in your search Keep your head about you, and realize even if you don't end up with it even George Webb's mom doesn't want this card. :lol:
