I think that's possible, but I think it more likely that many people will be grouped together with close point totals but not exact. Given the 25-1 scoring system, you'd have to have, out of 10 teams each with 10 songs, a lot of pretty odd and unlikely "times played totals" per song that all add up to the same number. I'm no math major, but I think that's unlikely.
    Yeah, perheps...

we'll see how it goes... This is still experimental, and may need quite a bit of adjustment next time around. Im hoping for the best though and it comes off as entertaining.

We will have people rooting for songs early in the tour, excited when their picks are played the first time... yay!!! Then.... as the tour goes on, people will be rooting against their own songs being played....but still hoping that the couple that they have that haven't been played do get played.

I think it will be very entertaining.

4 picks is all that's left in CAMERON conference, by the way. I will post the full rosters today hopefully once these picks get made

I have a hellaceous week once again (3 in a row). Work, appointments, baby stuff, setting up my Fantasy Football League... Hopefully clear up by later in the week.

I am going to try to "wire" a spreadsheet where I input the songs and it tracks them for all 4 Conferences. Also try to get it on a google doc so everyone can see it update live or close to it once the tour begins.

Ideally I would like to do a "test run" and see what comes out for the 2010 tour.

We are also looking for a few more people to fill out the Boom Vedder Conference and also maybe someone to spearhead the set-up.

  • Anyone else planing on going crazy with your last pick?

(if we knew they would release the tracklist so early, it would have been cool to "force" everyone to pick a new song for their last pick... hehe...)

Hey BN, has everyone in Cameron Conference told you what they're putting up for this? If yes, I was wondering if you might send it to MayDay10, and then if you, MayDay, could post it like you did for the rest. I'd love to know what we're playing for! :)

Yellow Ledbetter is my least favorite song. Because as soon as you hear the first note you know it is time to say goodbye.

McCready Conference finished up this weekend.

Basically. I need to devise a scoresheet so we can track it close to live. The gossard conference has created a life of its own with detailed draft summaries, predictions, and a web page.

But the hard part is over, and im actually surprised we had 100% participation on 4 full drafts.
