Probably would have been right next to me with my 70xxx if I had gotten reserved.

If anyone who has GA for night 1 wants to swap their pair for a pair of seats please send me a PM. I don't have 10 club seats but I do have a pair in the lower level that I'd love to swap for GA if anyone is interested.

First off, I am very happy & thankful to have received my "2nd choice" GA tickets for Worcester 2. That being said, I am somewhat disappointed that I got my 2nd choice for the 2nd lottery, only to find out they are having a 3rd lottery for the tickets I wanted with my first choice. I wanted reserved seats for a couple of reasons. First off, my low # of 159xxx usually means the BEST seats in the entire house. Secondly, my 5' 0" wife HATES GA. We had GA in Amsterdam, and less than halfway through the show she completely freaked out with our spot dead center in the middle of the masses, so we had to move to the back part of the GA area where it wasn't as crowded. Mind you, STILL a great spot, but I would have much rather kept our original spot. As a 6 foot, 240lb male, I've got no problem holding my own area, but my wife felt real claustrophobic being so small. Thirdly, GA is a complete nightmare for the MULTIPLE times a show that my wife has to use the restroom. For me, I go before the show starts and after the show ends REGARDLESS of the 10 beers that I drink. For her, not so much. She's got to go AT LEAST every half hour or so. Sucks for her, but usually great for me because she always returns with a nice fresh cold beer for me. However, trying to get back to me in a PACKED GA crowd can be a huge problem sometimes. So, unfortunately for this show she has decided she would rather not go at all than to be stuck in GA. (of course this decision was made MUCH easier for her since I won Reserved for Hartford and I also scalped some balcony seats for Worcester 1, so she's at least going to a couple of shows). The point is, GA isn't for everyone. Some people would actually rather sit in the balcony rather than be stuck in the pit, and if you request RESERVED seats as your FIRST choice, then that's the seats you really should get if they are available. Like I said, I'm more than happy to have hit the 2nd lottery and GLADLY will accept GA, as is my buddy who is more than stoked that he will now be taking my wife's ticket, but my wife isn't nearly as happy as us.

As you can see already, you won't have a problem trading from GA to reserve. I guess at this point - don't tell the wife.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

There's a dude from Jersey whose number is 1 off from mine. Whenever I've had tickets for NY/NJ/CT, I'm usually sitting next to him. Pretty funny.

I still don't understand why 10C doesn't process ALL the #1 priorities first, then #2 and so on. A lot of people were getting selected for their 2, 3, 4 priority for a show like Philly 1 when they had Philly 2 as their #1 priority. That happened to me, and it appears to have happened for everyone with Worcester 2 GA #2 and seats #1.

Not to be snide but a member # of 159xxx does not guarentee the "best seats in the house"..

There are tons of folks (158,000 in fact) with lower numbers.

It's all about the venue and demand.

Yeah, but unless you are a total seat snob, the tickets will be fantastic. I have a higher number than that (191xxx), and my Boston 2010 seats were amazing. Side stage, halfway up. A 159xxx with reserved seats will be sitting pretty.

Since the GA section is Ten Club only, they fill that up first. This way if supply outpaces demand, the seats can go into the general Ticketmaster onsale. If they do all future tour similarly, we've learned that if you'll only take seats that's all you should put in for. Going for either means you may wind up with either.

Yeah with each succesive lottery draw we learn (or at least we think we learn) a little more about how our new lottery based society functions. Of course for the 2016 tour they'll probably change things up again and seats will be assigned according to how much Boom likes the sound of your last name and the GA pit will be in the balcony.

I've been to 18 shows. About half have been through 10c. Not only has EVERY 10c ticket been WAY better than ANY ticket I've had without them, but EVERY SINGLE 10c ticket I've EVER had has been AMAZING. Maybe I'm just lucky, I don't know. What I DO know is that 159xxx doesn't REALLY mean 159xxx because I'm pretty sure that more than a few people ahead of me have left the club since 1998. I also know that because of the lottery, only a FRACTION of the actual 10c even get tickets to a particular show which makes seniority even BIGGER when it comes to the reserved seats. Either way, I'm extremely grateful to win 10c tickets because, in my experience, they are ALWAYS SPECTACULAR, and they NEVER cost me TRIPLE FACE.

This. I don't think it's that easy to make seat predictions based on 10c number anymore, lots of other factors that play into it...how many people with lower or higher numbers actually got tickets, how many of those with higher seniority might be in GA, etc.

As a point of reference in a regular New England show with no GA pit number 150xxx puts me in the 17th row the last couple of tours. In 1998, it put me in the second row

98 wasn't really done by seniority, the consensus opinion is that your seats in 98 were handed out based on when your order form was received at 10Q headquarters. I think the sheer number (or lack thereof) of members guaranteed everybody great seats in 98.

My 70,xxx got me 2nd row in 2000 and 2003 in Mansfield(block system), got me 3rd and 4th row at Boston and Hartford since the inception of 1,2, 9 and 10 lottery (4th row for both Hartford and Boston in 2010). In 98 I was in I think 5th row if memory serves.

Plus you would get bounced back 4 rows by the 1,2,9,10 row lottery if you didn't win it the last couple years.

If anybody wins a pair of Reserved for the 2nd Worcester II drawing and has a half way decent fanclub Number < 200k and wants to trade for a pair of GA - let me know.

Also if you just randomly purchase a decent pair through the public onsale Sat ping me as I'm looking to potentially swap out to appease my wife.

    Thanks.

    Thanks!

I am going to both Worcester shows, night 1 reserved, night 2 GA. I have good seats for night 1 and am going to scope out the GA scene. I have to assume I am not the only one doing this so trades for GA should be available the day of the show.

Note...Trading after pick up allows the GA holder to see what seat he is trading for.

Another note.....I will not trade for a TM/SH ticket. :nono:

If you guys were wondering the selection process from the Worcester II lottery, the tenclub emailed me back with an explanation:

"Since we did the GA drawing first and were able to fulfill all of the GA #1 priority requests, the system then filled in the rest with #2 priority requests. Then the system moved on to the Reserved drawing starting with the #1 priorities that did not have tickets yet, and moved on to the #2 priorities. However more GA ticket came available after the names were drawn which is why more are being offered. It's a super rare situation, and doesn't really reflect how all the drawings go.

With a normal ticket sale this is very unlikely to happen. This particular ticket sale was odd from the beginning as it's an added show open to only members we missed out the first time there were more variables at play that would not normally factor in. In the end we are happy to be able to offer tickets to fans that missed out the first round before opening them up the whole fan club.

    Best regards,
    10c"
