Best quality Soldier Field boot?
Can anyone point me towards the best quality boot from 1995 Soldier Field show?
I am have been listening to this show a lot lately but the copy I have is bad. Where should I go to get a better version? Gremmie's basement? Pearljambootlegs.org? Another site?
I am hoping someone can point me to a great sounding copy instead having to download from a few different sites and picking the best one.

I think the pearljambootlegs.org version is missing some tracks (Forever in Blue Jeans wasn't listed)
Forever In Blue Jeans is from the Wisconsin show. When the boots came out, they used it as filler along with some other songs to fill up the 3rd disc. It was not played at Soldier Field. 7/11/95 will live as one of the best boots and PJ shows ever!! So raw, so full of energy! Gonna listen to it right now since I'm up and can't sleep LOL...

I never knew that. I guess I have never looked at the real setlist, just thought my boot had the correct songs on it.
The Soldier Field show is amazing. Almost 20 years later, I am still mad that I could not get tickets for it.
How do I download this? Need a link...(no idea how to do the torrent thing..)
I'll try to upload a copy later today.
This is indeed the best source.

Thanks. Can't wait to listen. This show was actually my first ever PJ bootleg. Bought it for $40 at a flea-market in like '97.

I know I should know this already, but is this ^^^ the same source for the Soldier Field Vinyl?
The Monkey Wrench Mono FM + CS > D7 > 3 CD-R .. is not the same source as the vinyl.
With all due respect...surely you jest. Yes a Jack fan here so turn the drums up!
Jack played a fantastic set at Soldier Field and if I recall correctly, the next day or so he came out with the beat that was the catalyst for In My Tree. That's a tidy couple of days' work in anyone's book.
I agree with you on the jack irons. People can like his style or sound if they want, and he probably played on myfavorite pj album of all time, but the dude is by far the least impressive drummer they have had, technically speaking. Could not play fast, could not play "out of" his groove, fills not that good, etc etc
Anyway back to the OP, I don't know what links people posted, but I have a copy of the Red Robin 3 Cd print of this show, believe it was a radio station that printed them up or something, taken from the soundboard of the pirate radio broadcast down by the band? it has the live at Leeds style cover. Wish there was more bass in the mix, but overall a pretty quality sounding show compared to audience recordings etc of the time. Has the sum effect bonus tracks which are far inferior sound quality.

Would someone be able to re-upload this? Also no idea how to do the torrent thing
"This is a mix I’ve wanted to redo for a long time. The mono FM source is thin, tinny, and almost unlistenable by itself, and the Audience source is pretty good overall. A mix was done many years ago, but it has some sync issues and in general I thought I could improve upon it.
This ended up being way more involved than I thought originally. The FM source does not run at a consistent speed, making it very difficult to align. After doing a baseline stretch of the entire show to get the sources close, I did about 40 additional stretch points to really align things. I also did a significant amount of clap removal to the CSB and lowered the volume of some of the crowd noise, all done before mixing so it wouldn’t be noticeable. In addition, I got rid of the annoying DJ talk, so both encore breaks have been mostly faded out. Overall, I think the results came out pretty good."

Cool thanks I'll definitely check this out.

While No Code is alternately my favorite/ second favorite PJ album, I just don't like the sound of Jack Irons live. He just seems to bang and bang away with no nuance. Maybe it was the way he was mixed, I dunno.
