Is it okay to post your wife's link on FB page?
Can't spare a donation but will share the link and give bumps. My butt itches!0 -
Thanks for the bumps, everyone -- and the donations.
Unbelievable generosity from you folks. Kathy has already surpassed her goal -- albeit, she set the bar fairly low -- and sponsorship from 10 Clubbers has accounted for over 25% of that, I believe. (Admittedly, math is not my strong suit.)
And, DURP, it's more than fine to post it to Facebook. Neither one of us is on Facebook or Twitter, so that would be awesome. I think there's even an icon on her webpage to do just that. Thanks!Post edited by dankind onI SAW PEARL JAM0 -

Weird thing is I've always done better at math on standardized test. Go figure.I SAW PEARL JAM0 -

Thanks, donnaruhl.
You're so right. Awareness is key. Those of you who have just visited her page or shared it via social media or talked about PSC with your family or friends are doing your part to help.
As more people become aware of this disease, the potential builds for more doctors and scientists to dedicate themselves to research on treating/curing it.I SAW PEARL JAM0 -
Thanks for the reminder bump. Couldn't do much as I have my own cause (Cystic Fibrosis) but was able to do a little, and every little bit helps!
Best of luck to you, your wife and your little ones!!!Don't come closer or I'll have to go0 -

Thanks again, P&E! Every little bit does help.
We'll try to return the favor with a donation to CFF in the near future.I SAW PEARL JAM0 -

With a lot of help from the good folks here and elsewhere, Kathy surpassed her original (and admittedly low) fundraising goal of $2,000. She just updated her page today to thank everyone and raised her goal to $3,000. She put it this way: "Because, why not?"I SAW PEARL JAM0

Thanks for the bumps, BD, JP and Bathy (glad to see you got your stickers).
Kathy is killing it! After a very generous donation from her parents, she is just $200-some-odd away from her fundraising goal, and we've still got over a month before she takes her walk.I SAW PEARL JAM0 -
Bump for my better half.
Her walk is getting close, and she's almost at her fundraising goal -- thanks to a lot of you fine folks!I SAW PEARL JAM0 -
Kathy walks tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for their support.
If you haven't taken a look at her fundraising page yet, here it is. She has surpassed both her fundraising goals, a lot of it due to some very generous folks from this forum.
If you care to share the link on your social media pages or to sponsor her, there's still time to do so.
Awareness is key. PSC flies under the radar, which hurts its funding for research, etc.
I think she's going to take some pictures of her walk and post them to flickr or something. I'll share them here as well.
The weather looks like it will be on her side.
Finally, remember, organ donations do save lives.I SAW PEARL JAM0
