they gotta limit the tickets ot 10clubbers with nyc zip codes only
I think people called for this with the regular tour as well, which I suppose is unfair in some aspects as many people like to travel to see this band.
for regular tour its unlikely because of the way us fans are with traveling for them
but for a special gig like this really should be a limited local thing

Yeah, that's understandable, but any reason to visit NYC is great. I live in Philly so guess I would be out but after 2009 I can't bitch about anything ever again.

Yes please
11105 in the house
queens is not NYC
at least not to me
Thats another thing I was thinking. If they limit tickets to only 'nyc' zip codes to some people that could very easily mean only 100xx zip codes. Which would suck!

I didn't, but after getting completely shut out on tickets (from both the 10 Club and Ticketmaster) to a show that's seven blocks away from my house, I can see those people's point.

Or live anywhere south of the Carolinas, in the midwest, the plains states, the Dakotas, Denver (for fucks sake), etc. Should be a lotto for the whole club if this is legit.
How did they do the letterman after show? Didn't they invite the most senior members of the fan club that were also residents of NY?
No. It was an F5 fest like tickets used to be.
Still can't believe I was there
THIS!

30 hours well fucking spent
Wow, 30 hours on line, and people complain about spending 30 minutes on line hitting F5. Anyone who sat in front of their computer for 30 hours deserved those tickets!

30 hours on an actual line....outdoors
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status
I sat on that sidewalk for 30 hours as well for that irving ticket. It was worth every second. They should do the same thing for this show that they did for irving plaza.
As far as venues go...Irving Plaza, Radio City and Webster Hall are booked for 10/7.
Roseland and Hammerstein are not booked for 10/7 (or surrounding dates before/after) according to their sites
And they should throw NJ into this, I give the MTA enough money on my commute every day

Neither is Terminal 5, which seems like the go-to venue these days in NYC even though it's the worst. If they're planning to do a free 10C only show, I think T5 will be the largest venue considered (capacity 3000).

Folks who travel can still try for Ticketmaster.
