  • Yeah Glenn prolly would know him.....knows nearly everyone at all the refineries.
Yarloop- That's been going on for years now.....to do with residents and respiratory diseases and blaming ALCOA Wagerup.....it's a really tough one ...I saw a huge documentory on it a while back (and it's on the news and papers all the time) and it was totally non-biased. Before watching it I was all for the Yarloopians, but after watching it....I have no idea??? It is definitely suss though....but being farming land, there was a lot of evidence for other factors as well?? Hopefully Erin will continue to help them and get it sorted - it's gone on far too long.

i know 5 people in my family circle of friends who have all worked for ALCOA and have had cancer. Chris is the first of those who have died though... thats just in my circle of friends. how many more are there!?

Chris just had his 50th last month. its too young.
I'd rather be with an animal.

    There's A LOT more!!!!!
:( and like I say, Glenn's been there for over 12 years and probably will be there for many years to come ......

Very sorry to hear your news Megan..... my Grandfather died of cancer (throat and lungs) and it was a hard way to watch someone go..... just remember to talk about what's happened and not bottle any feelings up inside, it just makes it worse....

On a happier note, anyone coming up in November that is interested, i'm sure I can handle a couple of airport runs to help out the Jamily..... I've booked in to take leave on the friday and monday after, so will be either amping up for the weekend, or recovering..... let me know who needs lifts!!!

It's more exciting flying into Gold Coast airport anyway..... the views are a hell of a lot better, and you get the added bonus of the pilot having to dodge all the potholes!!! hehehe

yeah.... not too shabby, i guess. I tend to just watch maybe a couple of games of footy a week at the moment, and that's about it.... and even that is painful considering how bad the Knights are performing this year... stupid brian smith!!!
