    Yeah I really didnt notice the crowd was THAT bad during Syd2 cause I was in my own little world.

    BUT on behalf of the leppers that sat and didnt get into it.....well I think we are just gonna have to take one for the team.

    Im taking a cattle prod to Syd 3

    You know, the Sydney 2 crowd wasn't that bad, just not as consistent as others. Part of the problem was people on the floor just doing nothing. And not knowing the words to Baba...

    Hey, I've ranted on and on about crowd participation, but I still go off at every show. I think a lot of us who have felt let down by crowds in the past have still put in ourselves, no matter what. How can you not?
    1995: Melbourne 1
    1998: Melbourne 1, 2, 3
    2003: Sydney 1, 2, 3, Melbourne 1, 2, 3
    2006: Sydney 1, 2, Melbourne 1, 2, 3, Sydney 3, Newcastle, Adelaide 1, 2, Perth

    I would be hating it too if PJ (and everyone else) was bagging the Brisbane audience!

    i can't understand why the crowd sit but if you just concentrate on having the best possible time you can,then you will take great memories away with you.i know pearl jam feed off the crowd,but just go off and have the time of your life.i was in melbourne and night two my three friends and i stood up and went off.if people choose to sit/stand and do nothing stuff em
    someday you'll have a beautiful life i know you'll be a star.why can't it be ,can't it be in mine?

    i suppose some people may like to sit and watch mesmerized ? people may have different rocking styles, but not the WHOLE audience :D

    the crowds seemed pretty good in melbourne but i think everyone in general is talking too much about the crowds and not concentrating on the awesome setlists they have been playing.
    someday you'll have a beautiful life i know you'll be a star.why can't it be ,can't it be in mine?

    yeah i like to watch the show but you don't have to sit for that...

    on a personal note i had to stop myself closing my eyes like i do when i listen to the boots... had to laugh at myself

    but ferfuksake stand and scream the band feed off it

    i know i've been mesmerized at times, and yeah peoplpe def have different ways of reacting. i couldn't stop staring at the roof which was wierd, i just thought it looked pretty, and huge, and it had mike and eds shadows dancing on it which made me smile.......plus i couldn't see the stage with my crappy seats.....so, maybe if anyone up front sits down on thurs, come find me and i'll swap with them! no use sitting when your that close *shakes head*

    Yeah, I agree...

    But we have to be careful!! What if they decide to skip us next tour or the next because only half the crowds are REALLY responsive and it just doesn't seem worth it? Could happen! :eek: That's what I'm worried about.

    oh wait, maybe some people sitting had disabilities, or injuries, and in that case they can sit all they want, hmmm didn't think of that.......or maybe they had gum stuck to their butts and couldn't get up if they tried......i stepped on gum....my pants got stuck to the floor.....

    dont worry i was up front last night and i dont think there is a chance of them skipping us next tour they seemed so much more alive the last two nights than on the last tour as i wached the melb 3 03 boot earlyer and it was
    nothing compared to the last 2 shows
    Makes much more sense, to live in the present tense

    Yes, BUT Ed only said that about the people at the second Sydney show!!
    The first Sydney show was great, it was the first show of the tour and it really went off .. I should know, I was there. At the end of the night my ears were ringing, my voice was nearly gone and I could barely walk. :)

    narrr, they would only stop having shows if not many people mought tickets, and they did have alot of shows in each place, so i think theres a chance tht they will cum back. By then i will be old enough to marry ED :D *imagines*
