i think his problem with it was the same as mine ... basically - people (myself included) overhyped the show. We thought it would "special" due to all of the surrounding circumstances (cancellation of the '00 Cincy show, venue was the site of the Who tragedy years before, etc.).

And the show disappointed from that point of view. it wasn't a bad show, it was jsut average. And many people expected it to be an epic show.

On top of that, there was the disappointment of the 3rd encore that was supposed to happen but never did because people started to leave the building. So the band called it off. We knew Indifference was supposed to be played in the 3rd encore - not sure if there was anything else though ...

    That basically sums it up.

why would a cancelled show in 2003 and 11 people dying in 1979 have an affect on a show in 2006? i can sort of see the "make-up for '03" mentality, but seriously people...its cincinnati. who the fuck cares about that city.

my theory is that its an easy way for SPEEDY to increase his post-count...:)

Not only Leash but that show had Kids are Alright, Long Road, Hail Hail, Corduroy (a rarity of epic proportions), LBC, Present Tense, Wishlist...

Those are all fairly rare these days... not the best show ever but far from bad...

you don't think that a band like PJ who never cancels shows (unless there is a VERY good reason) and cares so much about their fans might think of playing a few more songs in a city that hasn't seen them in years because a show was flooded out on the previous tour?

i sure did. Maybe i am naive.

no, like i said, i can sort of understand that thinking, but then you have to remember that the show is in fucking cincinnati, and you'll realize that you ain't getting a super special show...
