Macklemore should open for PJ

I was reading an article from billboard magazine about the great Macklemore in reference to his song called "Same Love" (http://macklemore.com/post/52071515479) which is a song about marriage equality when I decided to check out his website to see if he had any new shows announced. Down at the very bottom of his website it shows the Voodoo Experience event in New Orleans and it says w/ Pearl Jam. I was starting to think Macklemore was getting too big to open for PJ, but I wonder if this little tidbit of information could prove otherwise?

PJ should follow the Springsteen route. Instead of having a shitty support band that only 10 per cent of the audience turn up for just to show solidarity with EV, have no support and hit the stage by 7:30. No need to worry about curfews and with 3 hour sets they could pull out a lot more requests and in demand rarities.... 8-)Like a book among the many on a shelf...

The Loganator and I approve this message...
He's fun and would be funny at a minimum... Love to see Ed join him for Same Love.

I'm still stuck on the pronunciation. Mack-le-more, not Mackle-more :x0

I like this idea.....3 hour set, some more rarities, maybe an opening acoustic set here and there.

You might not be into his music- but he is pretty cool. First unsigned artist to reach #1- and this.....
Says the rapper:
All families deserve respect. All parents deserve support whether they're gay or straight. I want a government that doesn't discriminate, a government that doesn't try to use religion to define what makes us a family. And that's why I am one of the voices united for the separation of church and state.
