Dude! For real...something about PJ taking their sweet time conducting a tour proper, brings out the worst in just about everyone, particularly these old coots on here.
Ed...buddy...pal...stay true to your word and play Boise again.

i just watch a song of his at yourube,i dont like this type of music, sure he seems better than alot of musician of his style
but sure,i dont like this type of music to open for pj
if i want to listen this type of music i can go to a club here,no need to travel from the other side of the planet
and in general i prefer no one opens..only pj...
AIC would be the only band i want, like at Bilbao festival"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”0 -
That's his best song? I don't mind certain rap but that's just not good. Good story as I remember watching the game but as a song it's bad.Jeremys Spoken wrote:you all sound like a bunch of old fucks.

Thank you.candleofthought wrote:I highly endorse this idea! In 93 I saw PJ with Cypress Hill. Not to mention Macklemore has some amazing songs. Do yourself a favor and check out "The Heist". His lyrics are deep and tackle everything from same sex marriage to his struggles with alcohol abuse. He even speaks out against other rappers glorifying gang bangers, strippers, and drugs. Macklamoore is the real deal. Don't let Thrift Shop fool you!
people here need to stop acting like grandma's and grandpa's.
If disliking a cornball rapper makes you old, then consider me George Burns.0 -

I have become a little more open-minded over the years towards rap music in general. I really enjoyed Macklemore's album, "The Heist". I agree the lyrics and music are great. I don't see them as an opener for PJ, but I would enjoy it. Just my 0.02.40+ shows, it is never enough!0

Luv some hip hop and $20 in my pocket. I get the Seattle connection, the introspective lyric connection, even the Jay-Z and Cypress Hill connections, but Macklemore opening for PJ :? .....ummm, no.0

Take a look at the first 5 posts after the initial post.
Anything jeremy has said can be chalked up as reactionary to the dickhead-ish behavior that had already been displayed"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."

I think Macklemore is pretty great. Drake did a good job opening for PJ last year.
That being said - i like rap. If you don't like rap - just say you don't like rap, not "his music sucks" .
This place does seem to have an awful lot of music conservatives. Not just because of the strong anti rap sentiment but because its so hatefully spoken.
Seems weird to me - since PJ used to be considered 'alternative'
y'all are getting old my friends. lighten up.0 -

rap in general just doesn't work live.0 -
Macklemore is okay. I like his tribute to Dave Neuhaus and the Mariners.

I think Mackelmore is great and refreshing. I would be all for him as an opener if there needed to be an opener, but for me, nothing sounds better than "An Evening With...."Gorge0

Just happened to be watching this interview with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis...
and at this 4:35 point in this video...the guy singing sounds a bit like Ed if you listen close enough, and Ryan Lewis makes a reference to Ed twice..
