A HILLS tradition will continue when Seattle Sound perform at the Castle Hill Tavern on January 27.

Seattle Sound are live and loud at the venue every long weekend, always playing to a full house, and the Australia Day long weekend is not expected to be any different.

Since forming in 1996, Seattle Sound have come a long way after realising they could sucessfully deliver the music influenced by the grunge explosion of the 90s coming out of Seattle in the US.

Seattle Sound is the only surviving cover band from that period.

They have consistently had sellout shows, backed by loyal fans with a passion for the grunge sound.

Now Seattle Sound has an extensive playlist including bands of 2000 such as Fuel, Creed, Lifehouse and Incubus, along with a liberal dose of the 90s including Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Soundgarden.

Tickets are on sale at the door on the night.

The Tavern kicks off the Australia Day long weekend on Thursday night with guest DJ John Devecchis, one of Sydney's leading house DJs.

For more details call Castle Hill Tavern on 9634 5300.
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

Yeah there was a sticker holding together the pages of the last issue. I think the mags are being opened by Australia Post. Yeah, what's with the blurry photos? Hardly any decent pics of Ed in there at all .. most disappointing. My crappy Sydney 1 photos are way better than those. The photographer was trying to be artistic I suppose.
I don't think they've been opened, because everyone's are. I don't reckon they'd be that careful and peel off the sticker without leaving a trace either. But I can't believe they'd just send them open. Seems crazy! Well, mine dried out fine, but a little wrinkled and stained. Could have been worse.

Castle Hill is a bit too far from where I live. Thanks anyway.

hehe. Ziggidy is a dude from Sydney who usually posts on Life Wasted and likes Pearl Jam tribute bands. Have just been over there reading some of his posts. ;)
