    I got a "card to call" from the courier yesterday. It must be my MLB purple vinyl (and Mad Season too!). I'll probably have to wait for the redelivery on Saturday! :(

    This a really really nice bit of vinyl. Not just the sound and quality of the vinyl (which is so clean and sounds fantastic) but the packaging is quality!!!

    According to the original shipping estimate, mine was supposed to arrive yesterday. But, it got held up in Doylestown PA for 5 days! WTF??

    Did anyone who ordered from Amazon.ca receive a purple vinyl? A friend of mine who did received the black vinyl, not the purple vinyl it said it was selling. SoundStageDirect, What Records and many others are taking pre orders for the black vinyl. None have been shipped.

    Mine arrived from What Records about two days ago. It was the purple version. I think both soundstage and what took preorders saying they were the purple ones. Then when they sold out.. switch to orders for the black ones.

    I didn't trust amazon to know the different and paid an extra 5 bux to get it from what (of which I can't believe its cheaper to ship from the UK to Canada, than USA to Canada.. ie soundstage is getting out of control with their shipping prices).

    Sorry to here you got a black one from Amazon.

    Crap, I ordered the day it went up on amazon and got nothin but an email that they didnt have any. I'm quite pissed at amazon lately too. Ordered the silverchair green vinyl and after 3 months package arrived, cover and no vinyl :oops: . They sent another copy , it arrived and black vinyl :oops:

    Same problem here. Ordered it right away and got the dreaded e-mail that they are still trying to find the product for me. I assume if anything, I will get a black vinyl. I have had a bunch of problems with amazon lately and I think I am going to stop using them for limited items like this.

    Mine arrived from Whatrecords the other day (#645), and thank god no duty was charged (they marked it at $10 value, pretty cool on their part).

    I also ordered from amazon but received an email saying that they are out of stock and will ship when available. based on what a previous poster had said about receiving black vinyl from them, i think i'm going to cancel that order, so thanks for that heads up.

    funny thing is that i tried to cancel the more expensive order from what records after i pre-ordered from amazon. i'm glad whatrecords ignored my multiple email requests to cancel the order.
