    since it was produced by pearl jam, dead man would be a pearl jam song, no?
    Interesting... since EV definitely wrote that song specifically for the movie Dead Man Walking, obviously (kind of a favour for Tim Robbins, I gather), and definitely did not write it for No Code. I'm going to go ahead and decide that they kind of tweaked the facts on that one, just because the producers decided not to use the song for the soundtrack in the end and Ed didn't want it to go to waste, so they discussed using it for No Code after, just because the timing happened to be right. Given that, I still don't consider this a Pearl Jam song.

    Great, great, great song. I was just listening to the Missoula boot the other day and thinking that if that song had come out on vs. instead of Daughter it would have been every bit as popular.
